La Controra Hostel

- UNTIL END OF FEBRUARY (LOW SEASON) WE MAINLY NEED HELP WITH MAINTENANCE AT THE HOSTEL (painting, gardening, repairs, cleaning, etc) -

Naples is an amazing city!! Absolutely unique town in Italy and all Europe!
Our hostel is one of the best structures of the city, with a lot of chilling spaces (bar, tv saloon, working spaces, big garden...) and it is raw to find this kind of place in the city.
Volunteers will be able to meet people from all around the world, have fun and relax on your free time, but also learn about the napolitan culture with our local staff!

We are already a pretty "big" structure with more than 60 beds but we always try to keep a family vibes! So volunteers will be part of our team as a complete member of it! We communicate a lot between us and think that this is very important for the good ambiance!

I spent 6 weeks volunteering at La Controra, and it truly felt like home. Huge thanks to Chris and the whole team for being so welcoming and kind. The place is cozy, relaxed, and has a really nice atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to unwind, meet new people, and enjoy your time. I'm really grateful for the experience and the great people I met along the way.

Chris and all the team were super friendly, funny and always there if you need anything. The hostel is really beautiful with a good vibe and it was not that far from the center. I went there in November so it was quieter than usual because it’s off-season, but there is always someone if you want to do activities, go to the restaurant or take a drink :)
The work is reeeeally easy and the schedule was always respected, sometime you can even finish your work earlier.

I had a wonderful experience staying at la Controra hostel! Chris and the rest of the staff were super welcoming and friendly! They all made my experience so much better and also recommended a lot of fun things to see and do in Naples! The tasks are easy and the shifts short, which gives you time to explore Naples even on the days you’re working. Chris is also very flexible with the schedule if you have request about your working hours. I would recommend everyone who wants to travel/volunteer in Naples to stay at la controra hostel! Thank you for having me!
