La Vivetrie

The program allows the participants to taste an authentic, rustic French experience for a week, while working in a variety of areas, such as: - Renovation of an antique bread oven - Gardening and basic earthwork - Carpentry Activities: - Tours in the area - Shopping in nearby city Barbuzieux - Kayaking in the city of Aubeterre on the banks of the river - Visit ancient churches in the region - Swimming in the lake of Brossac - Antiques markets - Music evening performances at the of Lake Brossac - Lunch at the local French restaurant Chez Poirier - Firecamp evening in the woods - free time for enjoying at the farm and its surroundings

The farm has been owned by the Jauré family for more than 160 years and specializes in the production of wine for cognac. This summer, we will inaugurate the first year of the volunteering program in the farm. Gilles Jauré, along with his daughter Nour, will be responsible for and guiding the various projects.
