Since my cafe stands for over 40 years, there are many fans in all over the world. I was also a customer since 15 years ago, and took over from the ex-owner 12 years ago. I really like talking with people and sharing our experience together. Volunteering at Mickey’s café was a dream come true. Not only did I get to experience the local life in Japan, but also got the chance to meet and befriend people from all over the world. This job is for an extrovert and to us it was heaven on earth. I definitely recommend anyone to volunteer at Mickey house whenever they want to come to Japan.

The time at Mickey house flew. Although I was a bit sick for some weeks. I really enjoyed. I had a wonderful time at Mickey. You can connect with locals and make friends. People is really eager to know about you and your culture. Yuta great host, he helped us a lot even when he was not there. I totally recommend the place for anyone wants to experience Tokyo. This city has so much to see that sometimes can be overwhelming. But definitely would be one of these places you wanna get back.

Highly recommend! Cafe Mickey is the perfect place to stay in Tokyo right in Shinjuku and a great way to meet both locals and fellow travellers. The work is easy and the owner Yuta is helpful and always respectful of working hours.

The experience at Cafe Mickey House was absolutely new to me. It helped me develop new skills and get to know interesting people. The task is simple when you bring your best ability to talk about anything and everything. The accommodation with the other volunteers has a lot of opportunities to be improved.
