Over 700 people have joined so far, some of them start living in Japan after, some of them got a partner from here.
You can stay in Tokyo not just as a tourist. You'll have another "life" here in Tokyo for a while!
Here is rough schedule for 2024, but I can accept from 2 months before of your staying.

Since my cafe stands for over 40 years, there are many fans in all over the world. I was also a customer since 15 years ago, and took over from the ex-owner 12 years ago. I really like talking with people and sharing our experience together. Our staffs will take you guys to fun places (Especially Friday night), I just want you guys enjoy this program!

My experience on Mickey Cafe was really good. I was able to know many japonese people and live in a treveller community for a while. The work is chill and Yuta the host is a very nice person. Good opportunity to live in Tokyo and have a local life.

It was a wonderful experience cause talking to locals at the café I think is the only way to truly get to know a new culture in the correct way. I had the chance to meet new and beautiful people with whom I shared the same experience. Yuta is very helpful and flexible with the volunteers, so I hope to do a similar experience in the future. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Really nice experience and opportunity to meet a lot of local people! Cafe Mickey is an amazing place with lots of regular customers and also new ones coming every day, it has its own nice community of people wanting to chat and meet others. I would recommend!

I had a really great time at mickey house! The task is simple, sometimes working feels like not doing actual work, just chatting and have fun !
I had the fortune also to have such a nice group of volunteers as my colleagues!
The working schedule is reasonable and Mickey house staff is kind!
