Chasnay is a lovely commune in the Nièvre department of central France. Here you can learn french, visit wine caves, and share nice moments! Life is peaceful and you won't have busy or stressful days. :) The walking around our house is wonderful and you can get to Paris in 2 hours by train. You may also have a pleasant walk around our village, rent bicycles to ride along the Loire, and rent kayaks in a rage of 15km.
You will be very well treated for sure and the food is good and healthy!! Anyway, we are two kind persons, you will certainly feel confortable with us.

Le Ti'Chasne is a very good restaurant with nice costumers. Sylou and Richard were very good hosts. They gave us rides from time to time to visit nearby towns or to the train station, but an access to bikes would be a great addition to allow more independence since the village is very deep in the country side. A downside is that we often finished service late at night and then were expected to have had breakfeast before 9 am the next morning, which didn't allow a lot of time to sleep, so we sometimes skipped breakfeast. Overall, it's a great experience but it is a slow life style.

Nuestra estadía en Le Ti'Chasne fue increíble, un mes en que no vimos pasar el tiempo, desde el primer hasta el último día nos sentimos como en casa y en el camino aprendimos muchísimas cosas sobre diversos temas. Sylou y Richard son personas maravillosas que están dispuestas a enseñar todo lo que saben con mucha paciencia y cariño. La comida era excepcional y las habitaciones súper cómodas. Definitivamente recomendamos este voluntariado, volveremos sin dudarlo. Finalement, on te remercie encore une fois, Sylou, tu nous manques déjà mais on sait qu'on se retrouvera dans le futur. Bisous ♥️

I cannot explain how amazing was this experience for me.
The landscape is beautiful and the accommodations are so nice, comfortable and private. Sylou makes sure you always have everything you need plus the delicious meals she prepares.
I instantly felt comfortable and felt a real connection with her, I can talk with Sylou for hours!! I enjoyed so much cooking together and prepare the dishes. I learnt good recipes and she also invited me to visit really nice places on our days off.
I cannot be more grateful for everything.
I’ll miss you 🥲 and I’m already waiting to seeing you again ❤️

I cannot fault the hospitality and generosity of Sylou and Richard welcoming me into their home. I enjoyed getting to know them, they are so lovely and great fun!
The work advertised is not quite what I experienced - it was originally advertised as bartending but in reality it was mostly waitressing and kitchen help, and there was work to do before/after service with cleaning, food prep etc so it was more hours than I was expecting as I was the only volunteer there.
Overall I'm still glad I had this experience! It was great to try something new during my travels.

Hello Emma thank's for your feed back I know at certain time you had a little more ours but you had free sunday afternoon, monday, tuesday and wenesday wich is more than 2 days, sorry if you found it was more work than you thought.
