Lynbrook Homestay
Adoraríamos recebê-lo em nosso lar como parte de nossa família. Estamos perto de Manhattan de trem (30-40 minutos) na Long Island Rail Road ($9.75 por viagem, $90 para o passe semanal ou $253 para o passe mensal).
Nosso lugar é ótimo se você quer visitar NYC, mas também quer um pouco de paz e tranquilidade quando voltar de seus passeios. Vivemos em uma cidade suburbana, então é bem tranquilo, mas há muito o que fazer por perto, como ir à praia, parques, cinemas e o shopping.
Também adoramos receber viajantes e mostrar a eles nossos lugares favoritos. Ficar conosco será como ficar com amigos da família com quem você ajuda com algumas tarefas domésticas leves.
Somos Paul, Cristina, Mia, Valentina, Samara e nossa gata Skitty. Somos anfitriões experientes de couchsurfing e Airbnb, com muitas avaliações positivas. Acreditamos que receber voluntários combinará nossos interesses de receber viajantes com nossa necessidade de ajuda extra em casa. É um ganha-ganha para todos. Paul and Cristina are very lovely and welcoming. The tasks were very quick and easy to do, which gives the volunteers time to relax and explore the city. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a home away from home!! :)

They're amazing!! So welcoming, kind, fun, helpful, positive and simply the perfect hosts. I've had the best experience with them and was able to share so many fun moments. The tasks are easy and the recipes are fun to make, the schedule is flexible and it's a peaceful place❤️

Volunteering here was a dream come true, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The tasks were easy, and Paul and Cristina are kind and fun people. I felt totally welcomed in their home. They gave me real American experiences, which was amazing (the Mets now have a fan in Brazil). I had so much fun and learned so much during my time there! I'll miss everything: the beautiful Lynbrook; my roommate Carol (Brazilian twin haha); baby Samara with her tiny hugs; Skitty, the sweetest cat ever; and the best hosts, Paul and Cristina. NYC and Lynbrook will always hold a special place in my heart.♥️

This was my first experience at Worldpacker and it couldn't have been better! I felt like home from start to finish, Paul and Cristina are very attentive and gentle! The tasks are easy and well explained, besides the baby is very cute and it's very easy to play with her! Had a lot of free time to walk around New York City and it is also very worth knowing a little more Lynbrook, the village is very cozy and charming! I had a great time there!

The experience at Cristina and Paul's home was very beautiful and balanced. I really liked this volonteer experience because the tasks were easy and well explained by Cristina, the enviroment was beautiful, I had lot of time to visit Manhattan/Long Beach/Lymbrook because in this volonteer experience you can decide how many pauses and when to do the work. I also had the opportunity to read and have my spaces because the house is full of beautiful cozy spaces. I think that the most important thing that made this experience very nice was the fact that Cristina and Paul were very gentle!
