At the hostel you will meet a lot of other fascinating and beautiful people from a different cultures from all over the world, everyone with a different prospective, knowledge and experiences in addition to that Talamanca region is full of a beautiful history and the town puerto viejo has a beautiful Caribbean vibe.

and puerto viejo town are really amazing.
we are a young couple with a beautiful baby girl who open this hostel a few years ago, we care deeply for it and we treat it like it's our home. we have a small staff which taking care for the hostel cleaning and a few receptionists, the mainly help we need around here from volunteers is helping in reception, attending guests and answering for questions from time to time and other project that we might have around the time you'll visit us. we like to do everything around here by ourselves in a Pura Vida way.

This was a great place to volunteer. If you want to meet new people and socialize I definitely recommend this place.

Great experience! As new volunteers, we were a little bit scared from the reception job, but Tom explained everything and helped whenever it was needed. We saw so many animals at Oasis, sloths, monkeys, even iguana! As a couple, we preferred to stay in a tent it was really nice to enjoy jungle experience. Toms wife was so sweet, really warm person. She suggested places to visit. The best part of this experience is meeting so many different people who stay in the hostel. We get some really good friend. :)

Muy buena mi experiencia en el Oasis, me tocó compañeros divinos, Tom es buena onda,, lugar simple, sin lujos pero, si buscas una vida simple cerca del mar y conectado con la naturaleza, este es el lugar:).

Mi estadía en Oasis fue muy buena, es un lugar tranquilo y muy próximo al mar.
La ubicación es excelente, esta en el centro de puerto viejo.
Tom es bastante flexible y siempre esta disponible para responder consultas, las tareas de recepción son sencillas . Se respetan los horarios y tareas acordadas.
El grupo de voluntarios que se armo fue buenísimo!
