Paradanusorn School
We are located in a rural area of Thailand. Here you can experience the REAL THAILAND. Uttaradit is the second friendliest City in Thailand. People are so friendly and keen to get to know you. Our kids (pupils) are happy to learn from you and give you many hugs to say Thank You for teaching them English or Chinese.
We are a family run school for mainly poor or low income families. Our school is basic but has a typical Thai charm. The Teachers and pupils are welcoming you anytime and you will experience something tourist would never see or gain. Please note that we are unable to provide free accommodation.

This experience was outstanding! Peter is an incredible host who genuinely cares for not just the students but volunteers as well. The commitment is fair, and the kiddos are adorable. We spent most of our time with kindergarteners and every day was a blast. The mission of the school is admirable: acclimating kids to English and to interacting with foreigners. It’s one of a kind in the area.
Aside from the teaching part, Uttaradit is an amazing town full of the most friendly people. I really got to know the locals and they treated us like family on multiple occasions.

I had the most incredible time volunteering at Paradanusorn school! The experience gave me such a great insight into education in Thailand and Thai culture. The children in the school were so sweet and full of life. Peter was the most incredible host, made us feel so at home and welcomed in Uttaradit. He planned amazing trips such as a motor bike tour and a waterfall hike that were some of my favourite experiences in Thialand. He also planned incredible dinners in the nicest restaurants all around Utteradit.I would highly recommend this volunteer programme to all!!

What more can i say about Paradanusorn School other than it was amazing! I had the most wonderful time at this school and it was truly a great stepping stone to starting my career in teaching English abroad. Peter and Sira were great hosts, always looking out for the volunteers and making sure that we were comfortable. They also planned several activities in the afternoons which were entertaining and fun.
Overall, I would highly recommend this experience and definitely want to go again in the future! :)

Amazing experience at the school, it was well organised, the staff and children were lovely and very welcoming. The work was easy and very rewarding, this was the typical structure of Monday-Friday:
8:40-11:30- Work/play with children
11:30- lunch together provided
2pm- afternoon activities organised by host (optional)
7pm- dinner together organised by host (optional)
The activities were a great way to immerse into authentic Thai culture and were a lot of fun! We also had weekends off so I travelled to both Chiang Mai and Bangkok, the station is right next to accommodation. Would recommend :)

I really enjoy this journey since Peter and other volunteer are so nice. The kids just like the angle and show huge enthusiasm to us. Volunteers supposed to teach in the morning of every workday, and Peter will lead us to travel around the uttaradit during the afternoon and weekend. We explore the jungle, the temple, and many fantastic coffee shop as well as Thai massage shop. uttaradit’s local culture and customs are very charming. The program is so mature and reliable that I recommend all should have a try.

Zhiyan has been an amazing volunteer. Always eager to participate and teach our kids basic English and Chinese. She really would be a good teacher and her English is excellent. She made suggestions like using a small music keyboard, to teach our kids how to play it. We hope to see her again in the future. You would be lucky to have her as a volunteer.
