Parc Nature Gaspé
Olá,
Meu nome é Charly (28 anos) e eu trabalho em um camping chamado Parc Nature Gaspé. Também temos uma pizzaria napolitana tradicional (nosso chef Vincenzo vem da Itália). O camping é cercado por floresta e estamos dentro do Parque Nacional Forillon. Eu vim aqui há 3 anos como voluntário e nunca fui embora.
Este ano estou procurando voluntários que falem francês e/ou inglês e estejam interessados em comunicação com o cliente.
Dependendo das necessidades, as seguintes missões podem ser oferecidas:
- este ano vamos abrir um café/museu em Gaspé com o tema de jogos retrô e a equipe pode precisar de uma mão
- ajuda no restaurante
- ajuda no jogo de arremesso de machados
- limpeza e recepção do camping
Estamos a poucos minutos do parque nacional Forillon. Durante seus dias de folga, você pode fazer uma caminhada em busca de baleias, ursos e alces. A praia fica a apenas 800 metros; você pode nadar, fazer caiaque para encontrar as colônias de focas.
A equipe é internacional (francês, québécois, italiano, argentino, brasileiro, inglês e québécois até agora). Falamos uma mistura de francês e inglês, então se você fala inglês, é uma boa vantagem.
Temos uma casa bem em frente ao camping com várias suítes. Dependendo do número de workawayers, você pode ser convidado a compartilhar um quarto (temos 2 quartos com 2 camas de solteiro e 1 quarto com uma cama de solteiro). Também temos roulottes no camping que podem ser usadas. Para alimentação, forneceremos um orçamento para comprar o que quiser na loja de alimentos. Costumamos comer no restaurante, então espero que você goste de pizza :D

I had an amazing experience in the camping!!! Charly is an amazing person who cares a lot about volunteers and makes you feel welcome. The hours were always respected, and he is really flexible in helping you to get to know the place because he offers to take you to the park in car. The campsite is really pretty and the job that is done there is really physical, but overall satisfying in the end. You just have to take into consideration that the house where you will sleep is a shared house by about 8 people, so you need to be open minded about sharing common spaces. incredible experience!!

This was my first experience as a Worldpackers traveler and I couldn't be happier!! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The work is super flexible depending on your skills and you can choose your days off. The accommodation was great, I had a room with my friend, in a shared house. The beach is very close and there are beautiful hiking trails. I made some amazing new friends! It really felt like home away from home. I had such a great time, I would recommend 100%!

My bestfriend and I spent two weeks at the camping in July, and we had the best time! Charly is super nice and flexible, and we quickly became close with the other friendly volunteers. We never worked more than the amount of hours we initially agreed on and mostly finished early. The work itself was exactly like what we had been told prior to our stay, mostly cleaning and maintenance around the campsite. The area is beautiful and the view of the mountains from the campsite is insane + the beach is walking distance… Great place to stay! :)

I absolutely adored my time at the camping! The team was so friendly and welcoming, I honestly can't wait to see them all again. The work is super flexible depending on your skills and what you're interested in, and you can choose when you'd like your days off too. Accommodation was ideal, you get a private room in a shared house, and of course the national park is just down the road and the beach is basically next door. I had such a great time I've already planned to come back to work another month. I would 100% recommend !

I'm very happy and lucky with my experience at the camping. Charly is an amazing person, really committed with the camping and the volunteers, he become like an old brother. The house is very good and I had my own room. I started working in the camp side, cleaning and arranging the area, but then I become a server at the restaurant, where I met and talk with a lot of clients from everywhere in the world (also, I developed even more my french and english. BONUS: learning italian with the chef of the restaurant). the camping become like a family to me and I want to be back!
