Parc Nature Gaspé

Hi, I'm Charly (26) and I work for a campsite named Parc Nature Gaspé. We also have a traditionnal Napolitan Pizeria (our chef Vincenzo comes from Italia). The campsite is surrounded by forest and we are inside the National Park Forillon. I came here last year as a volunteer and loved it so much that I decided to stay. Off season we always have manual work to do. This year we are expanding the restaurant, building an ax throwing game, we have another place where we wish to build a cafe where you can play old video games. July to September you can help at the campsite : welcoming guests, help cleaning the campsite. At the restaurant you can help with serving breakfeast, custumer service, catering, barista, learn how to make traditional Napolitan pizza ... We will also have a food truck near the beach this year where we will serve chicken and fries. We don't ask for experience in any field we will teach you everything. Some of those task needs a little training and will be for those willing to stay at least a month. We are a few minutes away from the Forillon National Park. On your days-off you can go a hike and look for whales, bears and moose. The beach is only 800 meters away, you can go for a swim, take a kayak to meet the seals colonies.

The staff is international. I'm from France, our chef is from Italia. The owner (José) works here with his wife (Chantal) and their to kids (Alexandre and Marie) are from Québec, but they spend 20 years in Shangai and Dubai. We speak a mix a french and english so you will have to know at least on of them (french is necessary if you want to work with the customers). We have a house just in front the campsite with several rooms. Depending on the number of workawayers you might have to share a room (we have 2 rooms with 2 single beds and 1 room with a single bed). We also have motorhomes at the campsite that can be used. For the food you we will let you buy what you want at the grocery store. We often eat from the restaurant so I hope you love pizza :D
