Saint James Backpackers Hostel

We have been entertaining and accommodating global travelers in central London for over 45 years. We've just had a major refurbishment and we now offer a range of rooms including bunk beds as well as private and private en-suite rooms. The hostel has a 120 beds and is based in an original Victorian building with original victorian architecture.

Had such a wonderful time here and met friends for life. Thanks to the whole team for taking such good care of me from the minute i arrived. Special thanks to Tyson the kitty for keeping me sane when work got stressful, Dražen for being my guide when i first got there and Saddiq and Immy that patiently explained to me everything that there was to know about working reception :) And of course, thank you for having me Stephen&Alison! Can't wait to come back to visit in a bit and see how much your little Jazz has grown <3

It's a nice place with great vibes, the staff members are the best. You will need a few days to adapt to the tasks and how everything works. The garden it's special for sharing with guests and staff all together, also I loved the neighborhood.

My experience at the hostel was great! The team is amazing! It's easy to get along with everyone and you can easily build a connection. I worked in housekeeping and also at reception and both is completely fine. Housekeeping is a bit harder on your body but still very much doable. I'll miss this place!!
