We are a family of four, to adults and two boys. We are easy going people and try to live a partly self sufficiant life. For us it's important that both parts - hosts and volunteers - have the feeling they did benefit from their stay. We are looking forward to cultural exchange with people from all over the world, and we'd like to have volunteers from as many different countries as possible.

My experience at sandsböla was very educational and our hosts made a lot of effort to ensure we were immersed in the culture. They accommodated our needs very well and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend this experience to anyone! :)

Hein and Astrid at the farm made us feel extremely welcome as soon as we arrived! Each day was filled with lessons and a great atmosphere. We were able to communicate our needs and felt comfortable around the house. There’s lots to do and we enjoyed every second of our time with them. Would absolutely love to return 😁

All the family made me feel so welcomed! They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and had a great time. It was an amazing experience. They are very nice, kind and honest people. I really recommend coming here.
The tasks I carried out were basically harvesting the produce from the garden and something related to carpentry (stripping, painting). You will have plenty of time to spend with yourself and also to enjoy the beautiful nature around the farm. Thank you for this time

I will reccomend to everyone to come to Sandsböla, it is amazing place, nature is very nice with a lot of wild animals. Hein and is family were super kind with me, I learned a lot there. The work was easy and with a lot of free time for me, the food was delicious, and the activity proposed were cool.
