Stockwell farm

Beautiful scenery. Wonderful organic veggies. Lots to learn and plenty to explore in the Matanuska Valley. Trails to hike and lots of mts to climb. Also downtown palmer is a 15 drive away. There is a spare car for volunteers to share on the weekend and we have a community dinner every night.

I've been farming this area for 20 years and and Randy has been helping me with volunteering help and cooking and farmers markets for over 4 years.

Couldn’t have chosen a better place to start volunteering. Palmer is really cute and the farm has the most beautiful views. Could see the northern lights from my bedroom. The place is comfy and the food is delicious. Vern, Shane and Mu made me feel very welcomed and at home since the first day. They took me to every place I wanted and even let me use the car. This place has lots of love and good energy. Highly recommend it to everyone 🩷

I had the best time in Alaska. Vern is an amazing person and Shane was a good mate. Vern took us around we went Ice fishing, skiing and visited few places. I had a very good time in Alaska and made good friends. It's a chill place to be in.

One of my best experiences on this app for sure! Met people from all over and the sleeping arrangements were nice and cozy:). Highly recommend this to everyone. Had such a nice stay and felt very welcomed. They let you borrow their car which is such a big help with exploring around town. There’s also super good thrifts not far away.

Fue el mejor voluntariado que he hecho hasta ahora porque esta granja se siente como estar en casa, los voluntarios y los anfitriones son como una familia conviviendo y compartiendo. Las horas de trabajo son respetadas, hay mucho tiempo libre y muchas actividades (trivial, pelis, trekkings, shopping, noches de fogatas en la naturaleza, noches de bailoteo).
Hay muy buenas vibra y todos son gente maja con un corazon enorme.
Gracias por esta hermosa experiencia.
