Stockwell farm
Beautiful scenery. Wonderful organic veggies. Lots to learn and plenty to explore in the Matanuska Valley. Trails to hike and lots of mts to climb. Also downtown palmer is a 15 drive away. There is a spare car for volunteers to share on the weekend and we have a community dinner every night.
I've been farming this area for 20 years and and Randy has been helping me with volunteering help and cooking and farmers markets for over 7 years.

The stay at Stockwell farm was amazing! Surrounded by nice people and wonderful nature. The atmosphere was super and the work was a lot of fun.
Vern and Randy make you feel at home from moment one.

I absolutely loved my time at the farm. It was such a dream to live in Alaska. It was my first time working at a farm and it was amazing. I can also recommend the farm if you're looking for a place that feels like home with good food, kind ppl and fun activities. I went on so many hikes and saw so many beautiful places. Thank you so much for the experience Vern:)

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in my life. It was my first time volunteering and I couldn’t have chosen a better place! Vern and Randy are wonderful people, they are incredible caring and attentive to all the volunteers, and the food they prepare is fantastic. I stayed for 1 month and 1 week and felt at home from the very first days. I wish I could have stayed longer. I’m already missing all the amazing people I met during my stay. Thank you, Vern and Randy, for everything you did for me. I can never put into words how grateful I am to have met you.I hope to come back soon!
