We are an International Community Hub that welcomes like-minded people to spread positive vibes and celebrate life together. It is a home from home, with a vision of sharing, co-creation and self-expression. Our events and workshops have participants leaving with big smiles and hugs, having made new friendships and unforgettable memories.
The management is very respectful with strong communication and planning. We are a community space run by travellers and locals with a strong International calling. We have weekly meetings to discuss successes, concerns and upgrades

The best hostel I’ve volunteered so far, everybody is so social and kind and rob and issam are always available for any help you need with the tasks! Downstairs they have a garden that’s always full of events, it’s an amazing place to meet travelers and locals as well. The location is also very good, not far from the old town, etc. Really loved it!

My time at T5 was so special! The four shifts a week felt more like an opportunity to socialize rather than work. Unlike other hostels, you're able to sleep during your night shift. Issam does a fantastic job welcoming and training the volunteers, ensuring they are comfortable. There are permanent staff working with you which gives T5 stability. The tasks and communication between staff are very clear. The hostel combines locals and international travellers creating a very diverse and immersive environment. If you're looking for a chill and social hostel, T5 is the place!

My first experience volunteering in a hostel and any other experiences I do in the future will have a tough job comparing to t5. As most of the other reviews say the community feels like a family. The work is extremely fair and flexible, you have plenty of time off to be able to explore other parts of Romania. The jobs were explained really well and there was always someone there if you have any questions. I had travel booked either side so I was only able to stay for 3 weeks however I would definitely recommend staying at least 4 weeks. Special thanks to everyone for the best experience <3

An incredible experience! I've never been to a hostel that puts such an emphasis on building a strong, family-like community of locals, expats and travelers with well-planned inclusive events every evening. I stayed at T5 Social for just over a month and came away with lifelong memories. The work as a volunteer is very fair for what you receive with help and guidance always available. You really start to feel like a family which makes it so much harder to eventually leave. Much love to all the wonderful staff and volunteers. This isn't a 'goodbye', more like a 'see you soon'. I'll be back!

My time at T5 has really allowed me to grow and evolve within an incredible, respectful and frankly energetic community!
The climate obviously changes depending on the volunteers who will be working with you, but the staff always makes sure that you feel comfortable and included. The care, the listening, the respect and inclusiveness of the staff really touched me, and I will be forever grateful to have had the chance to experience this with Mana, Issam, Monica, Josephina and Rob! Thanks for the great time, and see you soon for another improv night! <3
