Ṛtavan by Todoforest
Ṛta Van is a peaceful riverside forest campus in South Goa where nature, yoga, and community come together. Surrounded by coconut, mango, and cashew trees, our land offers a chance to slow down and reconnect with a simpler way of living.
Our hosting journey began several years ago at Hem Eco Farm Stay, where we welcomed volunteers from around the world and built lasting friendships. Today, that journey continues at Ṛta Van—our own riverside forest campus and the first living campus of TodoForest, where we can fully bring our long-term vision to life.
Volunteers become part of everyday life on the land—helping with gardening, ecological restoration, natural building projects, and caring for the forest. We also have a beautiful yoga shala by the Talpona River, where yoga and meditation are woven into the rhythm of daily life.
Although we’re only a short drive from Palolem, Patnem, and Talpona beaches, the real experience here is living close to nature, learning practical skills, sharing meaningful experiences, and becoming part of a close-knit community.
By joining us, you’ll be contributing to a living project dedicated to ecological restoration, conscious living, education, and community—one that we hope will continue growing for generations to come.
About me and my staff
We’re a small team building something bigger than a typical farm stay. We believe in simple living, shared responsibilities, and creating a genuine sense of community rather than just hosting volunteers.
Ṛta Van is also home to Dakshinamurti Yoga School, where yoga classes and teacher training are held throughout the year. We work together, share meals whenever possible, exchange ideas, and support each other in caring for the land.
If you’re open-minded, enjoy nature, and are excited to contribute while learning, you’ll feel at home here.
