If you like a peaceful cooperative environment that focuses on nature, collaboration, and good food then this would be a fit for you. We give clear direction and expectation and welcome ideas and feedback to improve the experience of our customers and guests.
We have many long term staff and our team if an extended family. Leo and Manu in the garden and mantnance area (they are brothers). Leda and Mary are our cleaners. Daniela and Jordy cover reception and work with our guests. Andres and Esther make amazing meals. Then there is the owners family Callie, Jason and kids and property guardian Alejandro who all live on site.

I had a truly great time at TDS!! Playa Chiquita, the grounds, and all of the amazing and welcoming people were beautiful. We had 5 shifts for every 7 days so it’s possible to work more than 5 days in a row but you get a meal with every shift! The main tasks were helping in the kitchen and serving guests, raking, cleaning the yoga deck, and creating a post for their Instagram. Also I was scheduled to babysit the owners’ two kids for the month I was here. The yoga classes are everyday and just $6. Overall, I loved my experience at TDS!

The staff, volunteers, and people of Puerto Viejo made my time at Tierra de Sueños something I’ll never forget. You stay right across the street from a beautiful beach with beautiful blue water and are walking distance from cafes, restaurantes, a local super market, and more. The entire staff was always so kind and willing to help me if I ever needed anything. I’m so grateful to have been able to spend a month here and to have had the chance to meet everyone I did at the lodge. Something to be aware of, as it’s not clearly stated on here, is you only get a meal on the days that you work.

Me siento agradecida por la oportunidad que TDS me brindo en ser parte de ellos, cumplí mi objetivo de brindar toda mi ayuda con mucha voluntad , todo el equipo de trabajo son personas muy amables siempre estuvieron abiertos a brindarme su amistad y agradecimiento por mi ayuda.
Mi experiencia de vivir en medio de la jungla y cerca al mar fue algo muy placentero y relajante, aprendi mas sobre el yoga, comida caribeña y vegetariana
Aconsejo a los próximos voluntarios estar dispuestos ayudar en todo.
Sugiero coloquen un ventilador de techo en la casa de voluntarios.

Esperamos que ya estes de vuelta en casita con su familia.
Por aqui la extrañamos mucho.
Su nivel de servicio supera las espectativas, fue un intercambio muy beneficioso para nosotros y me alegra un monton saber que tambien lo fue para ud, pues esa es la idea.
Giselle es una persona super detallista ,trabajadora, ofrece un servicio de alto nivel y una ella es una calidad de persona.
Regresa cuando gustes!

Lo extrañamos mucho Carlos. Gracias por el excelente inmtercambio, por toda tu ayuda, por tu hermosa vibra, por tu personalidad unica.
Carlos es un muchacho muy trabajador y super inteligente.
Sabe seguir instrucciones y ademas siempre da lo mejor de el.
Fue un place tenerlo en Tierra de Sueños y sabes que las puertas quedaron abiertas para cuando gustes regresar.
