Wild Ginger Hotel
Como uma pequena empresa familiar, oferecemos aos voluntários um ambiente acolhedor, havaiano e descontraído. Estamos atualmente buscando pessoas que queiram vivenciar o espírito aloha das ilhas enquanto trabalham como voluntários em nosso hostel; adoraríamos recebê-lo em nossa ‘ohana (família).
Em troca de um comprometimento de quatro (4) semanas de limpeza, nossos voluntários recebem uma beliche superior em um dormitório masculino ou feminino. Junto aos hóspedes, os voluntários também são convidados a aproveitar um café da manhã continental gratuito ao estilo havaiano todas as manhãs. Almoços com carne são fornecidos aos nossos voluntários nos dias em que trabalham (não há garantia de refeições vegetarianas/especiais). O Wi‑Fi gratuito está disponível no saguão para hóspedes e funcionários utilizarem a qualquer momento.

Unfortunately i have had a bad experience this time around. The hosts sold the hostel and the new owners kicked everyone out in 7 days. I had nowhere to go and worldpackers only covered 49$ which doesn't even pay for a night at a hostel. I was very disappointed with the way things were handled and for the lack of prior notice.

Had a wonderful time at the hostel Inn! Great people, nice job tasks and always a super lunch after work. Fantastic people, super friendly and easy to talk to. I cut my foot during my stay at the hostel Inn, and everybody was really helpful driving me to the hospital and helping. Thank you for a good time!

If you're looking for a relaxed environment and to explore Hilo, the hostel is your place! The housekeeping work is straightforward and side tasks are shared between all work-traders. You're allowed to listen to music while you work which makes the work day fly by. At the end of your shift you get a delicious meal, Al is a GREAT cook. Meals ranged from soups, burgers, curries, shrimp pasta, and the list goes on! Never the same meal twice. They even accommodated my dietary restrictions. I had a blast getting to know the staff and going out to events together. I will cherish these memories!

Amazing people and a beautiful Hostel that overlooks the Ocean. The work is straight forward and I would highly recommend the hostel Inn to all work traders. Perfect opportunity to get out and explore this beautiful island.
