Welcome to Sullivan Homestead, a peaceful and vibrant cannabis farm nestled in the scenic countryside of Sheenboro, Quebec. We love welcoming volunteers from around the world to share in the rewarding experience of caring for thousands of outdoor cannabis plants under the sun.
Depending on the season, you’ll take part in every stage of this plant’s journey—from planting seedlings and tending the fields to harvesting mature, fragrant flowers. This is a rare and hands-on opportunity to learn about legal cannabis cultivation in Canada, sustainable farming techniques, and the natural rhythms of the land.
The area around Sheenboro, Quebec, offers endless outdoor activities. In the warmer months, you can go hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, waterskiing, tubing, ATV riding, hunting, and golfing. Nearby rivers and lakes are perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing adventures.

25 hours of help per week
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.
Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
The area around Sheenboro, Quebec, offers endless outdoor activities. In the warmer months, you can go hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, waterskiing, tubing, ATV riding, hunting, and golfing. Nearby rivers and lakes are perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing adventures.
Our property also features a man-cave style space where travelers can enjoy pool, darts, and karaoke, perfect for socializing and unwinding after a day of work. We also enjoy fun outdoor games like volleyball, cornhole, and horseshoes, providing plenty of opportunities for friendly competition and connection.
We ask for 5 hours of help per day, Monday to Friday, in exchange for accommodations, meals, and transportation from the nearest bus station to our farm. Weekends are free, giving you plenty of time to relax & explore.
Activities (depending on the season):

🔥 Chopping & stacking firewood – keeping the farm warm and cozy
After a fulfilling day, we love to unwind by the fire and gaze at the stars. The farm has a truly magical atmosphere—perfect for those who want to connect with nature, plants, and people from around the world.

🏡 Shared cleaning duties – Volunteers help keep the guest house tidy for everyone’s comfort.
🚭 No smoking inside – Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
🍽 Help in the kitchen – Groceries are provided, but all volunteers pitch in with cooking and cleaning.
🐾 Be kind to animals – We have pets and wildlife around, please treat them with care.
🌿 Responsible cannabis use – This is a legal cannabis farm, but work comes first. Respect farm operations.
💬 Good energy only – We welcome people from all over the world. We kindly ask that you be open & respectful.
