This was my first volunteering experience and I don't think it could've been any better! I felt super welcomed from the staff and other volunteers and the work was pretty chill as well. I didn't have set working hours. Instead I just worked whenever something at the Hostel was happening ( for example filming the salsa class in the evening) and doing daily insta stories. The communication with the social media manager Fatma was great as well! She was very supportive of all my Reel ideas and trusted me with creative decisions. I can definitely recommend volunteering at the hostel <3

Amazing host. The hostel manager, Yoka, was kind, patient, and did a good job explaining the role and responsibilities. She was a really good leader of the team and an excellent problem solver. Volunteers had a good amount of ability to suggest new things, for example I wanted to da weekly trivia night and we were able to make that happen. The dorm room is cozy and comfortable and each bed has a privacy curtain. Breakfast provided was tasty and a good portion size. Overall, no complaints. Very positive experience that I recommend!

I had an amazing time at the hostel. The manager Yokari, is very nice and cares a lot about the volunteers and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling.

Is a such a great time I experienced at the hostel, with all the staff, team and volunteers. I recomend for sure to travellers to volunteer here. Amazing people and lovely city actually in Oaxaca. The pool, the activities, tours and everything very good and organized. I loved my time here at the hostel and the city aswell. Thanks a lot for this experience and the welcoming. 👍

The hostel was my first volunteer exchange and it was a really, really good one to start with. The hours are not too demanding, so I still had time to wander the city on my time off (which Oaxaca is wonderful for). There was also breakfast and some drinks included everyday, which I appreciated a lot. The facilities at the hostel are nice, great showers, good kitchen, comfortable beds. Overall I had a great few weeks here, got along really well with the other volunteers and others who stopped through the hostel. The manager Yokari is super kind and understanding too.

Omg, I had the best time volunteering here at the hostel! The hostel has a very cosy feel and the terrace is a lovely place to chill out and meet other travellers. Yoka is lovely, laid back and helpful. The tasks are either reception or bar and are both easy and fun. The hostel has a great location, easy to get to places and also has tours and activities that you can join. I did not want to leave, I made so incredible friends from staying here and I would love to go back one day! Thank you so much for the best experience! 😁

Loved every part of my stay here, Yoka was so warm, welcoming and accommodating to my schedule. The volunteer room is super comfortable and I loved the free breakfasts!

I absolutely loved doing social media for the hostel! The marketing manager is amazing, so positive and reassuring! Wherever I needed something she's was quick to help, best boss ever! The work itself is pretty straight forward and the hostel is super social so it's easy to get good content! The vibes at the hostel are genuinely so lovely and it truly felt like a second home! My bed was super comfy and with the curtain I had the privacy I wanted when I needed alone time! All the other volunteers are great and I really can't recommend this place enough! 12/10 highly recommend, you won't want to leave!! 😊

Absolutely amazing host (Yoka) which made sure I had a great time in Oaxaca and helped me practice my Spanish and learn about Mexico and specifically Oaxacan culture. The hostel is well located and has a social environment where I was able to exchange many stories with people all around the world.
