We are looking for help in relocating and improving our schooling facilities during the children's summer holidays. This job involves tasks such as moving heavy equipment, dismantling the current classrooms for the relocation (different part of our land), some gardening, repainting, etc. Another part of the job is helping organize and clean our material at the school office in preparatrion for the new school year (starts November 1st). We don't expect much, just FOUR hours a day of manual work, no experience necessary just motivated to help me out so our local children can continue their free education at our school when the semester starts again in November. We ask for $8 a day which covers your own private room in a 2 room bungalow equipped with double bed, AC and bathroom. Your daily fee also covers THREE home cooked meals - no need to worry about food, try all the local Cambodian food right at your doorstep. We are also located just a 15 minute tuktuk from Pub Street (main street in Siem Reap).
-Dismantle and deconstruct the current outdoor classrooms (the sheds in the pictures)
-Move furniture, equipment and materials
-Clean and clear the spaces
-Mantain the garden area
-basic handy person and maintenance jobs
-Organize our english school office materials (flash cards, worksheets)
Hours are flexible to fit your needs as long as you help us around 4h a day 5 days a week.
