I really enjoyed volunteering at the hostel. Camilla is super friendly, understanding and flexible with the task and schedule if needed. Schedules are respected and tasks are very simple. The hostel itself is sociable with a good general atmosphere. The location is ideal to visit the island, and Chiloé Island is really chill, with nice landscapes and culture. I can only recommend this voluntary !

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue mucho más que solo positiva. Camila es una persona súper comprensiva y agradable, y siempre buscará ayudarte en lo que pueda como voluntario, además tiene recomendaciones muy buenas sobre lugares en la isla. Me encantó el entorno que tenía el hospedaje, muy artístico, limpio, acogedor, es mucho más de lo que podría pedir. El trabajo no era difícil y hasta lo encontré entretenido. Este fue sin duda uno de mis mejores voluntariados, tuve tiempo de sobra para conocer Chiloé y hacer todo lo que quería. Gracias a Cami, Cristi, Chochoca por todo lo que Chiloé me dio 💞

I had a great time for a first experience volunteering with Worldpackers and the hostel hostal. I truly appreciate the collaborative culture of the staff, the positive spirit and the opportunity to really discover the island well thanks to Camilla's recommendations and feedbacks. I would definitely recommend this place and would volunteer again if the opportunity would present itself another time.

Recomiendo mucho ser voluntario en LaMinga! Las personas son increíbles, tanto la Cami como la Cristi son súper atentas, amables y les gusta mucho el hostel. El ambiente del hostal también es súper tranquilo y familiar, con tareas muy bien explicadas y definidas. Realmente vale mucho la pena conocer el hostal, el staff y también la hermosa Isla de Chiloé.

Volunteering in the hostel was an incredible experience. Even though it was low season, there was a great atmosphere at all times in the hostel. The work is very chill and it is opportunity is the perfect way to get to know Chiloé and live in Castro in a more intimate, local manner. Cami has lived in Chiloé for almost a decade and she is an expert in guiding you through activities, tourist attractions, … around the island. I'm truly thankful that the wind brought me here and I was able to meet such incredible and loving people in the hostel!

Mi estadía en el hostel fue muy agradable! Cami es una persona muy amable, te ayuda para que puedas realizar el recorrido por la isla de la mejor manera, es una persona muy divertida y hace unas cake muuyy ricas! La linda chochoka 🐈 es una mimosa que va a querer jugar contigo y hacer mimos todo el día! Junto a Cami forman un hermoso y cálido hogar llamado el hostel donde de seguro te la pasarás de maravilla. Las tareas acordes a lo solicitado. Agradecido por haber conocido este rinconcito en el mundo 🫶🏻. Graciassss 💞

El hostel fue mi primer experiencia de voluntariado y debo decir que cumplió y superó ampliamente mis expectativas. Camila es una gran anfitriona, cumple con todo lo acordado y te hace sentir a gusto en el lugar, asi como también el equipo que trabaja con ella. El ambiente del hostel es muy cálido, limpio y acogedor, te hace sentir en casa. La isla Chiloé en dónde se encuentra situado el Hostel ofrece una amplia oferta de actividades a realizar para todos los gustos. ¡Me llevo un grato recuerdo, con gusto volvería al hostel!

Solo puedo recomendar de voluntariar en eso hostel! Camila es una buena anfitriona. Tenía mi habitación privada, el hostel está limpio y agradable. Disfruté mucho el tiempo pasado con los otros voluntarios y los huéspedes. Se respetaron los horarios de trabajo. La organización del horario y de los días de trabajo está genial para visitar y disfrutar la isla. Muchas gracias Camila!

Mi experiencia buenissima! Disfrute mucho, mucha calma con trabajos bien definidos, y mucho tiempo compartido en el hostel y afuera con los compañeros. Me senti como en una gran familia, sin roces y sin problemas. Recomiendo el citio 100%. Paz y Amor!!
