Volunteers and teams participate in different project work activities with vulnerable children, elderly, women and others that geared towards improving lives or livelihoods, community development and women empowerment. Through outreaches we support and care for different vulnerable groups to meet their physical and psycho-social needs. We provide an environment that is so supportive and volunteers work with a team of like-minded and professional people.
Atividades & Turnos
Tasks done while at ACO Africa:
•Empowering other marginalized women different from the project economically through business training sessions.
•Participating in home-based visits to monitor different program progress for vulnerable children, families and also helping them to meet practical physical and psycho-socia needs
•Participating in school-based visits to monitor enrollment, retention and academic progress of sponsored vulnerable children
•Participate in life skills or mentor-ship training for girls under the AGE-Project
•Participate in the practical preparation and establishing of backyard gardens for vulnerable households for food security and nutrition care.
•Participating in advocacy activities including children’s rights, domestic and gender-based violence awareness
•Participate in the general home-based visits to the people living with HIV/AIDS especially children and

•Should be innovative with arranging lessons or sessions and games for the children.
