During 3 weeks I had my first contact with african culture while also having my first volunteering experience. I tried to runaway from african countries which are already known in terms of tourism. Coming from Brazil, I can say I had one of the best experiences in my life. The reality in the organization is completely different and it didn't stop me from learning so much about life and trying my best to support Paul, Promise, the teachers and the children. the organization and the school are fantastic and seeing Paul's effort really touched my heart. Wish all the best to everyone involved.

This was my first experience as a volunteer. If you are looking for a real experience, where there are many things to do, this is the place. Children's smiles are priceless. I left with a heavy heart and the desire to come back again.

My time with Paul at Manwya was wonderful! Paul is such a kind & selfless man willing to do so much for the children, the teachers & the community. He made sure i was comfortable the entire time & was accommodating to any of my needs. His passion for his school is inspiring! Choosing to stay here will be one of the best choices you could make! Promise is Paul's wife and is so lovely & fun to be around, the both of them will make you feel at home! Everyone there at the house & in the villages are so kind & i felt welcomed by everyone my entire stay. Thank you Paul for this amazing experience!

I had the most incredible experience in Uganda with Paul and his wife Promise and the other volunteers I met along the way who have become friends for life! This experience will completely open your eyes to a different world and show you how people in Uganda live day to day - we got to have so many experiences - not just at the school every day, but meeting locals, visiting the children's homes and families, a safari, the equator, going to church and so much more. Paul is the most amazing host and will make sure you have everything you need and you will feel completely safe and cared for. ❤️

This was my first time volunteering and I wouldn't change it for the world. Paul and his wife are the best hosts I could ever wish for. They made me feel like I'm at home. I 100% recommend volunteering with this organization. Being with the kids on daily basis was incredible and I miss them already. Thanks to Paul I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I've had the opportunity to see how people live their lives and learn many new things. I miss everyone already and I hope I'll be back one day!

Working with the organization was an extraordinary experience. Paul and his wife Promise could not be better hosts and people. Paul not only assists you and assures your comfortability while staying in the organization but he also teaches you and guides you as you interpret the wonderful and grim realities of life in Ugandan villages. I wish I could have booked a longer stay but even in 21 days I grew extremely fond of Central Uganda, the students and the people. You will laugh and you may even cry experiencing life in Uganda and teaching in the organization. I will see you soon MIC!

It was my first experience but the BEST! Paul is such an amazing person, good listener, good sense of humor and understanding which made everything easy and comfortable while i was in uganda. I definitely recommend to volunteering with the organization institute the organization. I felt safe and secure though i went on my own :). I would say take the risk and explore the beauty of the organization ❤️ i'm missing the children so much would definitely go back as soon as i can! Keep up the good work Paul you are the best!!!
