O albergue é um ótimo lugar para conhecer viajantes internacionais e explorar Roma! Você fica bem ao lado da Termini, o que é conveniente para viajar nos seus dias de folga e para explorar Roma. Aprendi a ser recepcionista, a preparar bebidas e a organizar eventos sociais. Gostei de trabalhar como recepcionista, é muito parecido com ser Pam Beesly em 'The Office'. Seus contatos principais durante a estadia são o outro voluntário e a gerente Yulli. Yulli é super simpática e prestativa, e ela leva suas perguntas a sério.

Eu tive uma experiência realmente bonita voluntariando no hostel. Desde o primeiro dia, senti-me bem-vindo(a) e à vontade. Eu não poderia ter pedido uma melhor primeira experiência de voluntariado! Yuli, Linda e Steve foram tão receptivos e são pessoas adoráveis. O albergue era confortável e parecia um lar longe de casa. Passei dois meses incríveis e teria ficado mais tempo se minhas circunstâncias de vida fossem diferentes. Achei que iria ter dificuldade em acompanhar a parte social do trabalho, mas o albergue tinha o tamanho perfeito para ter conversas mais significativas e substanciais com os hóspedes; conheci pessoas que vou lembrar para o resto da vida! Uma experiência absolutamente gratificante para mim :)

O albergue foi a primeira experiência de voluntariado perfeita! :) As horas são justas, o apartamento onde ficamos era agradável, e o trabalho fica mais fácil com o tempo. O passeio social e o aperitivo também são uma forma muito agradável de se conectar com pessoas. Linda, Yuli e Steve estão sempre dispostos a ajudar se você tiver alguma dúvida, e eles são realmente pessoas incríveis. Formei memórias maravilhosas lá, não poderia recomendar esta experiência mais! Roma é uma cidade incrível, e ficar no albergue tornou-a ainda melhor; eles também têm as melhores recomendações de comida!

The hostel was the best first experience I could have asked for as a volunteer. The owners are very welcoming and make you feel very confortable from the start. They were always very clear and communicative about what they expect from volunteers, and they let the volunteers themselves organize the schedule. The hostel's atmosphere is social in just the right way, and they promote social activities led by the volunteers, which helps us meet new people and makes the experience more fun! I definitely recommend it to everyone. Not to mention the amazing bagels!

I had the best time at the hostel, everything was so organized from the training to the schedule, and the owners (and Yuli) were always so responsive if there were any issues, any time of day! The work is fair and also really fun, social but not party which is perfect for me. Running the social walks was the highlight for me! Thank you so much Linda and Steve, I'll definitely be back to visit in the future!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel! The owners were always friendly, reliable and if there was an issue, they helped us out at any time :) you had a clear structure, you're able to create your own schedule with the second volunteer (the hours are provided) and communication was really good! You also get your own apartment which is shared with the other volunteer, and the shifts were always manageable (only the Sundays felt long sometimes because you cover the whole day). All in all I can recommend!!

As a first experience, it couldn't have gone better. the hostel has an amazing team, I always felt welcomed, and everyone is always ready to help! I was surrounded by honest, easygoing people, always with a smile on their faces and a wealth of knowledge to share 😊 I easily came to call the hostel home, and I'll definitely be back, even if just to say hello

I definitely recommend being a volunteer at the hostel! Yuli, Steve and Linda are really welcoming and do everything in their power to make sure that you will have a great experience. The work meets the job description and if you are looking for an international environment where you will be able to meet people from all over the world, the hostel is the perfect place for you!
