Eu passei um tempo incrível hospedando-me na casa de hóspedes. Consegui experimentar tanto a cultura quanto as pessoas do Nepal, bem como a beleza natural dos Himalaias. Uttam junto com Sahadev foram os anfitriões perfeitos, que me fizeram sentir muito bem-vindo durante toda a minha estadia. Depois de passar pouco mais de três semanas, consegui visitar vários lugares, provar comidas incríveis e fazer amizade com os locais. Como era a temporada de monções, a carga de trabalho era mínima e passei a maior parte dos dias explorando a cidade e as colinas. 10/10, recomendaria muito a casa de hóspedes!

A casa de hóspedes é um lugar muito agradável com belos arredores e um vilarejo próximo encantador. Durante minha estadia tive a oportunidade de compartilhar excelentes refeições com Uttam e Sahadev, e aproveitei um quarto confortável. Muitas das tarefas listadas no perfil não estavam disponíveis durante meu tempo, então, em vez de ter tarefas definidas para cumprir, eu costumava perguntar como poderia ajudar e seguir a partir daí. Havia muito tempo livre que usei para passear por todas as colinas e vilas. O destaque foi, sem dúvida, tocar música no café e preparar as refeições juntos.

The experience at the guest house was fantastic, i was able to visit incredible places around Dulikhel, and be in contact with the real nepali life between incredible villages and cities. i was also able to help in a local school, an experience that i will carry with me forever. the environment is not only the place but also the people, uttam and his grandchildren are unique people, with a huge heart and they will make you spend fantastic days.

Being with Uttam and his family was a dream. I felt at home from day one and as if I had found a family. Uttam is a great cook and a rare person, it was a pleasure to work for him that always allowed me to find the right balance between work and leisure. His nephew a really smart and nice guy, hard to find people like him. It was all perfect and an honor to spend a few days in the village with the Uttam's family who welcomed me with sweetness, I will never forget. I look forward to coming back and wish you both the best. Thank you for everything

Uttam and his nephew were very hospitable. They provided some eggs and toast or daal baat every morning. With Daal baat for dinner. There was a lot of flexibility with being able to explore the town. However, we felt that there wasn't much to do with only a little gardening and kitchen help. We also went to their village which had a learning centre but was not in use. Coming back from a trek there was a bit of miscommunication with when the hostel was going to be unlocked so we ended up having to get another hostel to stay two nights.

The location of the homestay is great it's away from the city and is nice and quiet. I had to cut my time short since the host was away trekking but the time I did spend there was quiet with simple tasks. It was cool learning to cook some local Nepali dishes from the food grown in the garden.
