The manager controls and supervises the daily needs of the surf house. Manage the volunteer team and supervise them. Also, guarantee respect for the rules of the house and respect for the neighbors, as Kekai is located on a narrow street surrounded by families.
The manager manages the surfboard rental of the house. Working with the volunteers, the manager must supervise the surfboards that have been rented to verify if they got damaged or lost any part.
Manager's day-to-day
☑️Ensure that everything in the house is clean, clear, and orderly.
☑️Ensure that every need of the day is covered. Excellent management skills are required.
☑️Manage and maintain volunteers' daily schedules. Teamwork leadership.
☑️The manager should have good communication skills. Managing the house's communication with the volunteers and owners through the WhatsApp Group and in person is essential.
☑️Supervise the surfboards rental area of the surf house. The manager must ensure every board is in perfect condition and report any damage, loss, or inconvenience.
☑️Supervise the daily payment collection. The manager must get the payments from the guests and volunteers (if they already collected them) and give them to the owner the next day. An organized manager must always take note of from whom and when the payment is collected to keep track of everything.
You cannot bring people from outside the hostel. The space is just for the guests. If you have a friend visiting or something similar will never be a problem. Just people who we don't know are not allowed inside.
