I spent a bit over a month at the organization and I can 100% recommend volunteering there. The place is truly special hidden in the hills near aljezur, completely immersed in nature. I volunteered in the building team and helped produce adobe bricks for 1 month as a preparation for a natural building course in which I also participated. For me it was really the perfect fit, I learned a lot and made amazing memories whilst living in the community. Mario and Joana created a beautiful home for their family and the volunteers who stay there. I hope I get to be back someday! Thanks for everything!

I had an amazing time in Quinta the organization. I will be always grateful to all the team for the love and energy that allowed us to create a beautiful atmosphere. The place is like heaven and Mario, Johana and Javi are very kind. The only thing I have to say is about the meals, we didn't have a "proper" dinner. We had access to the lunch leftovers but sometimes it wasn't enough for everybody so we had to buy food at supermarket. Thank you Quinta <3

Como você sabe, nossa comunidade fornece ingredientes para 3 refeições simples e equilibradas por dia: café da manhã, almoço e jantar. Cozinhamos o almoço para todos e fazemos o possível para fornecer os ingredientes básicos para que todos possam preparar um café da manhã e um jantar equilibrados, porém simples. Não oferecemos tudo o que cada pessoa gostaria de ter de acordo com seus gostos pessoais. Temos uma compreensão clara do que é uma refeição adequada e qualquer coisa que alguém possa querer adicionar está convidado a trazê-la. Novamente, oferecemos uma dieta equilibrada, nutricional e simples. Entendemos a sensação de um ótimo almoço quando o preparamos e que as pessoas podem ficar muito felizes com essa comida, e então ficar para trás no jantar quando são eles os que são convidados a cozinhar para si mesmos.

Mi experiencia con Joana y Mario en Quinta la organización fue increíble! Desde el momento en que llegué, su actitud empática y acogedora hizo que me sintiera como en casa. An amazing experience in a magic place in the nature. I've meet a lot of kind people. Mario and Joana are so courteous. We was around fifteen volunteers and we had incredible moments. I loved the energy of this experience

Quinta the organization is a beautiful place to connect with yourself, nature and other travellers. The tasks are clearly outlined and everyone is willing to assist you when needed. I felt comfortable and welcomed during my stay. The beaches around the farm (not walking distance) are also really beautiful. The overall energy of Quinta the organization is uplifting and relaxed.

Quinta the organization is in a beautiful area in nature and it was amazing for meeting people from around the world. The hosts were welcoming & kind. There was some tension with some volunteers due to communication issues from both sides. The work depends on your team, I loved working in the kitchen & the roomcare team was also good but the hours were more variable. Getting around could be a challenge when you couldn't get a lift, but it's part of the experience and I was never bored. Overall, I had a good time here exploring the area with beautiful people.
