You will be one of the assistants to the park coordinator. Your day-to-day tasks will vary based on whatever needs to be done. You could be part of the tour guides one day, or physical working on the habitat the next day. Be ready to be part of the team!
Participate in the long-term monitoring of
the bird communities in the nature reserve
and its surroundings.
Gain theoretical and practical knowledge in
tropical bird biology
Participate in all daily work related with the
conservation of the nature reserve
Discover what practical conservation work
Clean and care for the bird feeding stations
Formulate ideas that lead to the
conservation of local & migratory species
Document the phenomena related to birds,
fish, reptiles and other species
Educate the public and local volunteers on
issues related to the species at bird
Maintain record of observations on the park
Accompany team to local conservation
We are NOT a free lodging program. It costs fifteen dollars per day to participate in our program. The fee covers your lodging in our guest house facility and the program. You must accept being part of the team, from the arrival of the students until the departure of the students.
