É uma bela experiência viver cercado pela selva e em um lugar tão bonito. Tudo o que foi arranjado foi cumprido. É muito bom, porque ao trabalhar com a equipe há uma troca cultural, já que são pessoas locais. E o proprietário, em particular, é muito gentil com os voluntários.

O albergue fica a 40 minutos de Santa Marta, mas é um lugar FANTÁSTICO para fazer voluntariado (ou se hospedar). Foi tão incrível que estendi meu voluntariado por alguns dias. As pessoas são muito gentis e divertidas, e respeitam os horários de trabalho e descanso. Muito obrigado! Altamente recomendado. 😍

Minha experiência como voluntário no The Valley foi muito gratificante. A equipe e a administração estão realmente focadas em fazer com que eu me sinta bem-vindo e cuidado. Eles estavam constantemente perguntando se minhas necessidades estavam atendidas. As horas de trabalho eram justas; na verdade, na maior parte do tempo eu ensinava apenas duas aulas de yoga por dia e isso era tudo; apenas em algumas ocasiões me pediam para ajudar na cozinha ou no churrasco. Eu pude interagir com os locais, outros voluntários e hóspedes de todo o mundo. Durante meu tempo lá pude aprender mais sobre mim mesmo e como me relaciono com os outros. Sinto-me grato pela experiência.

The Valley is such an amazing hostel and I had a great time volunteering here!! The location is super unique with beautiful views, it feels secluded without being too far, and it is close to things to do like Tayrona park, Palomino, and several beaches. The pool is great too! The food here was absolutely incredible. Even with a language barrier the permanent staff are very friendly, helpful, and fun to work with. I definitely improved my Spanish a bit. Sometimes 30 hours a week felt like too much as we could be sitting around for half the shift but it was super chill. Great experience!!!

We really enjoyed the Valley Hostel! Such a great place to meet travellers and practice Spanish with the staff! The tasks were simple and even fun! Everyone was friendly and the facilities were great. Sometimes the power and water would cut out but never for more than a few hours. Overall a great stay!

Mi experiencia en este voluntariado fue increible! Conocí a personas hermosas, tanto del hostal, como viajeros y otros voluntarios, fue perfecta, comodidad para dormir, sumergida en la naturaleza completamente, la comida deliciosa en todo horario, me sentí como en casa y tenía todo lo que quería, perfecto para descansar, conectar con la naturaleza y otros viajeros, me llevó esta experiencia en el corazón 🫶🏼 😍🙌🏻

I had the most amazing time at the valley hostel and could not recommend it more to other people travelling around the Tayrona Park. From the amazing kitchen staff (shoutout to Yulieth) to the amazing vibes of the hostel, it really could not get better. And of course the experience would have not been the same without Alba. Missing it so much already.

I had a lovely time volunteering at the Valley!! Everyone was so welcoming and I felt very comfortable and at home from the beginning. The staff are really friendly, and Alba is great!! She is always there for you if you need her! I went with a friend and she always tried to give us time off together which we greatly appreciated. My time there went so quickly, and we were honestly sad to leave. I would highly recommend joining the team at the Valley if you get the chance. <3

I loved volunteering at The Valley, 100% recommended ❤️ Place is amazing, beautiful nature, great facilities, amazing vegetarian food and the best people. I volunteered as a yoga teacher which I really enjoyed, I had 2 classes day and if needed, I also helped in the kitchen or bar. Hostel if quite busy so you will find new friends if you want to.. and if you don't, there is always some place where you can just relax by yourself :)) there is so many things to do around - visiting waterfalls, Minca (where you can stay for free), Palomino, Tayrona.. thank you 🫶🏻

This jas been a wonderful experience. I would recommend it 100% if you love the nature, to stay in a very social environment and to meet 24/7 people from all around the world. Everyone who works here is such a nice person and would let you feel as you're one of them. Also you get to meet volunteers and enjoy a lot the time with them! Loved it
