Como minha primeira experiência de voluntariado, o albergue foi incrível! Fiz amigos para a vida toda, e já quero voltar. Os gerentes e os demais voluntários colocaram muito esforço para fazer o albergue acolhedor, inclusivo e divertido para todos, e todo mundo que entra pelas portas do albergue sente isso imediatamente. As tarefas de voluntariado eram claras e bem organizadas, com uma planilha e uma checklist, e os gerentes são acessíveis e rápidos para ajudar. O único desvantagem foi ter que voltar para casa! Já estou planejando minha próxima viagem de volta <3

Se você está procurando um lugar com muitas festas, mas também algumas responsabilidades, o hostel é o lugar. Você vai se sentir em família, e a diversão nunca para. É verdade que pode ser cansativo (porque realmente é um o hostel de segunda a segunda), mas a experiência vale totalmente a pena.

Eu me diverti muito no hostel. Eu fiz tarefas de lavanderia, passeios pelo hostel e liderei atividades e rondas de pubs. Também trabalhei atrás do bar do hostel, o que gostei bastante. Se você quiser liderar certas atividades, ou pegar turnos diferentes, os gerentes são bem flexíveis. As reuniões quinzenais às 9h são um pouco estranhas 🫠, mas a equipe e os outros voluntários são muito divertidos e tornam toda a experiência. O pátio torna o hostel realmente sociável e permite que hóspedes e voluntários se conheçam. Sentirei falta de ficar aqui e recomendo a qualquer pessoa que queira muito ir ao hostel.

Eu passei um tempo tão bom no albergue! Pude ajudar em rondas de pubs, atividades diurnas e ajudar a guiar as belas caminhadas pelas montanhas da Albânia! A equipe e os hóspedes são muito próximos e sempre há muita coisa para fazer! Recomendaria fortemente a qualquer pessoa que deseje conhecer Shkoder!

Eu tive um tempo maravilhoso fazendo voluntariado aqui! As pessoas são incríveis e o local é bem legal! Um ótimo lugar para relaxar e aproveitar para conhecer muitas viagens internacionais! Uma ótima mistura de festas e exploração da área ao redor! Recomendo muito este lugar a qualquer pessoa que procure se divertir bastante.

This was my first volunteering experience and has genuinely been one of the best months of my life. I had the most amazing time with the best people, I have genuinely made friends for life. The work was very reasonable and because the vibe was so great it was usually genuinely fun. I liked that there was some flexibility with shifts to be able to do the things I was better at. There was great support within the team and opportunities to try new things. The staff accommodation and food was great. But the best thing was really the atmosphere. I love you guys, wish I could've extended :(

I honestly had the best time at the hostel! It was a very social hostel, and I loved meeting people from all over the world. the hostel really created such a loving community that I enjoyed. The work was very fun to do and manageable! Mike was open to exchanging feedback which I really appreciated - I'd highly recommend this experience :)

I'm writing this review as I'm packing my bags to go hiking - and even tho I'll be back in a few days to say a proper goodbye, I already dread leaving. Over the last month, this hostel has become and been my home. the hostel is Strawpedos, Beer Bongs and Raki Shots, it's getting drunk with strangers turned to friends during the various day activities, but most of all it's family. There's always someone around to help you, be it employed staff or the other volunteers: the team spirit is really THE BEST! Would 100% recommend if you're up to the hostel day and night with the coolest people alive!

My time in the hostel was truly amazing! The manager and the staff were extremely welcoming, they immediately made me feel like part of the team. The work is really easy flexible and well communicated, you can also use the bikes for free which gives you the opportunity to explore shkoder and its surroundings. Albania is truly a magical country, with its unique nature and hikes. Parties are really fun, even tho it was still low season, and you'll never lack raki. I'm really grateful to had the opportunity to be the part of this experience and team, I've met amazing people and I'll be back!<3
