Passamos um mês encantador fazendo voluntariado no hostel. Mikel e Irena foram muito acolhedores e ótimos anfitriões. O hostel fica em uma localização central ideal em Shkodër para explorar a cidade e as redondezas. O hostel também é muito limpo e confortável, tornando-o um ótimo lugar para ficar. As horas e a carga de trabalho eram muito justas, nos dando bastante tempo para explorar Shkodër, que é uma cidade encantadora para visitar durante uma estadia mais longa. Foi muito divertido conhecer todos os outros voluntários e viajantes que passavam por lá. Posso recomendar fortemente voluntariado ou visitar o hostel.

My 3 weeks at the end of the season at the hostel were great! It's a relaxed atmosphere, the work is not hard, and Mikel and Irena were generous hosts. Shkoder is a really nice place to spend time, it's affordable and has great coffee, there's also plenty of things to do in the area around the town. We did shifts of 5 hours every day with one day off per week, all the work was very reasonable. There was a shared dinner every night in the hostel courtyard cooked by Irena. We also had a great group of volunteers, all up we really enjoyed our stay ✨ thank you, Mikel and Irena!

I volunteered for one month at the wonderful the hostel and from my first day I felt like at home. Mikel and Irena are incredibly kind and helpful and are doing whatever they can to make your volunteering experience as good as possible. They care about everyone who stays at their hostel a lot. They organise plenty of events for the guests and volunteers, like BBQ, karaoke, movie nights, sangria nights, cliff jumping, lake trips. Volunteering there was really enjoyable and I always felt appreciated. I also had plenty of time to explore Shkoder and the area. Can definitely recommend!!

My partner and I had a wonderful time volunteering at Tias hostel. Mikel and Irene are lovely and we enjoyed our time exploring Shkoder. The work was straight forward and flexible with communication to the hosts. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing time volunteering in Albania. Thanks for the lovely experience

We loved our volunteer experience at the hostel. Mikel and Irena are lovely hosts and made us feel very welcomed since day one. Daily tasks are easy to complete and allow flexibility to your day. We usually had our afternoon's free to go ride a bike to the lake etc. We now confidently can say we have a second home in Shkoder, Thank you for everything!
