I need a competent horse rider or someone confidant in handling horses for a minimum of 4 weeks. You would be living and riding in stunning scenery as we live in such a beautiful rural area of Wales, the riding is dependent on the time of year, weather conditions and fitness state of horses, there is more looking after them. You will only be able to ride out if your are very competent in the arena.

Nikki and Oz were the best hosts one could ask for! They were so nice, respectful, welcoming, and always made me laugh. It felt like being at home, but far away. Their house is lovely and cozy, right in the middle of beautiful Wales, the perfect place to connect with nature and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I'm so grateful for all the memories, laughs and experiences I shared with them. I couldn't have asked for a better place or better hosts for my first volunteering experience. I would absolutely recommend staying with them! ❤️

Other travelers should know that this is a place far away from civilization, with beautiful views and a very peaceful environment. It is perfect for people who enjoy nature, quiet places, and countryside life.

This was my second volunteering experience, and honestly it has been one of the best places I've volunteered at. The place is fantastic, the work is convenient and well organized, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They really make you feel at home. You also get your own private bedroom, similar to renting a room through Airbnb, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I'm not writing this review just to be nice — the place truly deserves it. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a great volunteering opportunity.

Thank you Sam, so glad you enjoyed your stay here with us, we loved having you here just shame it was like winter, and very wet, well it was really with a hint of Spring on the odd day. You'll have to return in warmer weather and see a different side to Wales.

My time staying with Nikki and her husband was very nice. They will try their best to make you at home from day one. The work I had to do with the horses was very light and it does'nt take much time to complete them. Nikki and her husband live on a cosy farm away from the city. Just be aware that there is not much to explore around the place where they live. (Exept, if you like long walks in nature. This place is perfect for you.) There are'nt many activities in the neighbourhood. Just keep that in mind :). Despite that I still had a great time on the farm.

As we were away quite a bit and you looked after the place while we were away and very hot I didn't think it was appropriate to give you too much work, hence the work was light, especially as you didn't do much riding then it would have been much more. I also make it very clear to all volunteers by email before they come here that we don't have any public transport and are in an isolated spot so any volunteers must like that environment. Too hilly for bikes, not flat like Holland.

I stayed at the farm for almost three weeks and had a great time. Nikki and Oz were very welcoming, and I also enjoyed meeting Dija, Tom, and Daisy the cat. The farm is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The tasks were physical work but simple and well explained, and I actually enjoyed doing them. Nikki was very supportive and helped me a lot with my English, and I'm really grateful for that. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly and authentic experience in Wales.
