Minha estadia aqui foi facilmente uma das minhas experiências de voluntariado favoritas. O trabalho era simples e apenas cerca de 3 horas por dia, deixando bastante tempo para aproveitar as belas paisagens. Adorei o local — tranquilo, quieto, perto da natureza e da praia, exatamente o tipo de lugar que gosto. Um agradecimento especial à Julia por sempre trazer atividades divertidas e tornar cada semana memorável. Desde explorar lugares próximos até aproveitar experiências locais, sempre havia algo interessante para fazer. Eu me senti muito bem recebido, aproveitei muito meu tempo aqui e voltaria com prazer. Altamente recomendado!

Este programa de voluntariado foi melhor do que eu esperava. Senti-me bem-vindo e tive a sensação de que seu espaço pessoal e suas necessidades eram respeitados. As pessoas que conheci foram gentis, carinhosas e senti aceito como eu era. O trabalho, que não era difícil, ajudou-me a conectar-me com a comunidade e a aprender sobre eles e sobre o país. As atividades às quais você tem direito, como a aula de Kundalini yoga, fizeram-me sentir que meu trabalho foi apreciado e eu sou grato por esses benefícios. Fiquei realmente feliz em conhecer pessoas da Finlândia e de diferentes partes do mundo e aproveitar o tempo juntos.

I spent a wonderful few weeks in the Center over Christmas and New Year. The experience was challenging at times - as communal living often can be - but facing those challenges, and growing from them, had been one of the reasons for my volunteering trip. My time in Tammisaari was full of magic, cosiness, friendship, and I came away feeling very grateful for the experience. Tasks were manageable and there was plenty of time for rest and relaxation.

This was truly one of the best experiences of my life. I had the chance to meet people from all around the world and, of course, our wonderful host. I loved staying in the Center, there's the chance of choosing your tasks based on what you prefer, I enjoyed spending time in the nature, one of my fav tasks was gardening. The atmosphere is something out of this world, I had the best time enjoying some relax and I had the chance to also do some meditation and focus on my needs. Thanks to the free time I had the opportunity to meet a lot of locals, who later became my friends. I will come back asap!

Ilaria foi muito doce e respeitosa na comunidade. Ela foi muito flexível nas tarefas e se adaptou muito bem à dinâmica do nosso centro. Junto com outra voluntária, formaram uma ótima equipe e nos encantaram com suas refeições deliciosas. Recomendamos muito a ela!

I had a great first experience at the Center. The people were friendly and made me feel welcome. I did feel a bit lonely in the first few days. Most volunteers had come in pairs and I found it difficult to integrate myself. Luckily, a new lone volunteer came a bit later and I was able to have much more fun. The tasks vary from cleaning, doing laundry and cooking/baking, to gardening and helping out at the kombucha brewery. I liked doing the laundry. The hours are flexible and they give you enough independence to decide when to take a break and when to have days off. I highly recommend ❤️

Ilona foi uma parte importante da comunidade; no começo ela era um pouco tímida até se abrir e foi muito solidária, explicando as tarefas aos novos voluntários e acompanhando-os. Ela era muito responsável e flexível com as tarefas e podíamos confiar muito nela. Recomendamos fortemente a ela!

It was the best experience so far. Marika and Timo are so kind and welcoming, and the entire team is friendly and warm. We did many activities together, like pizza parties, picnics, and more. The work is varied and offers many learning opportunities. The Finnish people are very nice and speak English well. I highly recommend it !

As a first-time Worldpacker, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The warm welcome and the friendships I made were unforgettable. 💕 The living and working conditions were great and flexible, offering a good balance of comfort and productivity. The tasks were interesting and fun, and I had lots of time to explore the beautiful surroundings. The location, with its stunning natural beauty, including forests and a nearby beach, made every moment special. ☀️ I truly recommend this experience 100% !!!

Sophia era muito gentil e doce e uma parte importante da nossa comunidade. Muito respeitosa, trabalhadora e sempre disposta a ajudar os outros. Ela era muito flexível com as tarefas que realizava e sempre fazia um bom trabalho. Ela soube trabalhar em equipe e também nos ajudou muito criando conteúdo para as redes sociais e fazendo vídeos para divulgar nosso centro. Sentimos muita falta dela quando ela saiu. One of the best experiences I have ever had. It is a lovely place to do volunteer work, meet wonderful people, learn lots of new things (not just during the work, also participating in workshops and just talking with different people), and have a lot of fun! The working hours are flexible and manageable by yourself. The jobs are varied, I have been remodeling apartments, painting, cleaning, working with wood, fixing stuff, helping in the kitchen, hosting events, and more. There is a lot of gardening also. My best memories are of the people I met, getting lifetimes friends is priceless.

My experience at the Center was the best worldpackers trip I've ever done! The hours were very fair and flexible, the work was varied so you weren't always doing the same thing, and the accommodation and location was superb. The team that runs the place are passionate and caring for the volunteers and everyone else that lives there. I can't recommend this place enough!
