Adoro minha experiência em Dresden, a cidade era tão bonita, especialmente a Cidade Velha à noite; você pode caminhar facilmente ao longo do rio ou andar de bicicleta lá. O albergue fica cercado por muitos restaurantes e bares onde você pode facilmente pegar alguma comida lá. Ficar no albergue foi tão agradável, eu definitivamente voltaria. Todos os meus colegas de trabalho eram tão amigáveis, eles me explicaram tudo de forma tão clara sobre minhas tarefas e me ajudaram sempre que precisei. Eu realmente gostei de trabalhar com eles. Obrigado Melina por esta oportunidade incrível!!

Uma experiência muito acolhedora e divertida. O trabalho não é tão difícil, mas a lavanderia, como comenta a Mel, é um pouco chata de carregar subindo essas escadas. Além disso, foi uma experiência maravilhosa. Se eles tiverem críticas ou feedback, eles vão te dizer imediatamente. Também ajudar com o idioma bla bla é provavelmente a melhor parte do trabalho.

Fazer voluntariado no albergue foi uma das experiências mais incríveis da minha viagem. O albergue é maravilhoso, cheio de boas vibrações, e a equipe é incrivelmente acolhedora. Melina e toda a restante da equipe me fizeram sentir em casa desde o primeiro dia, e estou verdadeiramente grato pela gentileza, pelo aprendizado e pelas risadas que compartilhamos. As noites de karaokê e o intercâmbio de idiomas tornaram a experiência ainda mais especial, criando momentos inesquecíveis com pessoas de todo o mundo. Se você tiver a chance de visitar Dresden, não pense duas vezes — escolha o albergue. É o lugar perfeito para ficar!

The hostel is a super cozy hostel. Your main tasks will be cleaning the kitchen, helping put the sheets away in the storage room, and going to the supermarket. On Thursdays you also get to host a quiz, which is really fun. The work is light and very flexible—you don't have to do it at any specific time, and I never had any issues when I asked for days off. All the staff are really nice and they make you feel comfortable at all times.

Hostel Montpalast was my first volunteering experience, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I was a bit nervous at the beginning, but Melina explained everything with patience and kindness, which made all so easy. The staff Karina, Fabi, Jorge, Melina, Michael, Calida, Andrea, Kevin, Steffi, Dani, and Jussi, was always friendly and made my stay truly special. The tasks were simple, the always respected the schedule, I enjoyed working as a CM, and I met wonderful people from all over the world. I'm very grateful and i would come back a thousand times, I loved it!

I loved volunteering at the hostel! I got to know the incredible staff there and met tons of locals. The included breakfast was a huge plus on a backpacker budget, and the facilities at the hostel are excellent and very comfortable. Meli is an amazing manager and friend! I hope to go back again in the future, it truly is a special place.

This was my first volunteer experience in a hostel, and it was spectacular! The tasks are easy and so much fun; I especially loved the karaoke nights and chatting with the guests. The whole team was incredibly kind and friendly. The atmosphere in both the hostel and the city is full of good energy and great people. A wonderful first volunteer experience, looking forward to coming back!

I thought this experience was great! However I was originally supposed to plan social activities and this never happened. Also the tasks I was supposed to complete were kind of up in the air each day and it could be frustrating because I could be asked to do something late in the afternoon when I thought I was done. The hostel was great and enjoyed the free breakfast. I would recommend this experience if you are a little more carefree and don't need structure to your day as much.

Truly an amazing place! I had an absolute incredible experience and really didn't want it to end! The hostel has a great environment, cozy and welcoming, and the whole is staff is very friendly and makes you feel part of the family. Michael has a big warm heart and is fair and flexible, really a great boss. The chores are simple and easy to do leaving enough time to explore the city and its surroundings, but make yourself available and help whenever possible so you can contribute more to this is wonderful place! Thank you for the opportunity!
