In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich Javanese culture. You’ll experience traditional performances, including dance and music, and gain insight into local customs and practices. Our village offers a unique chance to explore various plantations, such as coffee, tea, tobacco, and rice, and to indulge in a diverse array of traditional foods. Living with local families, you’ll have the chance to connect deeply with the community and experience the authentic lifestyle of our village. This volunteer role provides a meaningful way to contribute while enjoying an enriching cultural experience in Indonesia.
