Passei três semanas na vila e, sem dúvida, foi uma experiência que vou lembrar para sempre.
As pessoas que conheci foram maravilhosas comigo, sempre disponíveis, sempre tentando me fazer sentir bem em qualquer circunstância.
É certamente uma experiência que permite viver 100 % da vida cotidiana autêntica deles.
É um projeto maravilhoso, benéfico para as crianças, e seria maravilhoso se pudesse continuar crescendo.
Sou muito grato a todo o grupo com quem passei essas três semanas.
Fiquei muito apegado a eles e espero poder visitá-los novamente algum dia.

Eu fiquei por duas semanas no projeto. É um ótimo lugar para conhecer as pessoas locais de Lombok e para se imergir na cultura. As aulas de inglês são realmente divertidas para as crianças e para os professores também :) As crianças são um pouco tímidas quando chega alguém novo, mas são as mais fofas e tão entusiasmadas para aprender, especialmente quando (nós) os professores gostam de jogos e coisas assim. Sani está realmente comprometido com o projeto e está sempre lá caso você precise de algo. Ele nos deu algumas aulas de indonésio realmente úteis. Pia, Dayat e a família dele são calorosos e preparam refeições deliciosas.

Eu tive uma experiência maravilhosa, imersa na cultura local da vila e cercada por voluntários com mentalidade semelhante. A equipe recebeu um novo prédio escolar, que limpamos e decoramos. É um espaço grande que é ótimo para ensinar as crianças lá. A localização é perfeita, a uma caminhada da praia e a apenas uma curta viagem de carro para Sengiggi, onde surfamos todos os dias. Passamos a maior parte das noites assistindo ao pôr do sol na praia e, em seguida, comendo uma variedade de comida local incrível. Nos nossos dias de folga, visitamos a ilha secreta de Gili (com custo adicional), onde éramos o único grupo acampando. Irreal.

My time at Tajuan the homewas so special !! We taught the children English, did beach cleanups, made eco bricks and helped improve the volunteer accommodation through various DIY projects. The highlight of this experience was definitely the people, Sani, the team and the children are all incredible and welcome you as part of the family. They even took a whole group of us to the secret Gilis where we sang around the fire and snorkeled with bioluminescence. The food is also amazing !! I felt so comfortable, had so much fun and laughed a lot. Highly recommend this volunteer experience :)

Sani and Taylor are a very beautiful couple. They are doing their best to help the village learn English, and they even care about the neighboring village, making sure they also receive the education they need. They are also working hard to clean the village of plastic and have created trash bags for everyone to use. Life with them was so quiet . Sani is an active person, so if you want to explore all ofthe home, he is a great tour guide. I really appreciate what he is doing for his people. I also enjoyed the company of Gouga and Refal they are so funny to do activities with

This was amazing experience everyone was so lovely and kind I felt at home right away. Teaching English to the children was so nice and they were so happy to be involved in learning, it was also rewarding to teach the adults as they were so eager to learn the whole environment was so lovely. Also the food was AMAZING a huge breakfast and dinner of local food, then on the days off we went to some beautiful places inthe home. Also I enjoyed playing cards in the evening. I would love to come back if I could give 6 stars I would :)))

Taylor and Sani are welcoming, friendly, relaxed, kind people, with great English. They helped me learn a little Indonesian. Their homestay is nestled on a small hill in the village, beach only 1km away and all the tourist restaurants only about 5kms a short trip by 'grab'. The locals want to know who you are and invite you to their homes for meals. The children are happy and eager to learn and play and will often come to the homestay to visit. We took the children on some adventures and taught English through these outings as well as the traditional structured way in class. Loved my stay.
