Melhor experiência internacional que já tive, sem dúvidas. Organização faz um trabalho incrível e de forma muito séria, sempre dando liberdade para os voluntários darem o que tem de melhor a oferecer. O trabalho por lá é feito por gente comprometida e que recebe todo mundo com muito carinho e cuidado. Me senti amparado em todos os momentos e totalmente conectado às pessoas de the organization. Países da África sofrem com má reputação na mídia e na internet, mas estando no Quênia me senti seguro e sempre muito bem tratado por todas as pessoas. Recomendo de olhos fechados a todos.

My experience at syi was absolutely amazing! i felt welcomed from the first moment. the people were the friendliest and most helpful, and everyone was focused on making a true impact on the kids' lives. if i ever needed help with anything, i could ask one of the managers, and they would take care of it as soon as possible. also, the kids at the organization were absolutely lovely, and i will miss all of them, hoping to be back soon.

SYI is such an AMAZING organisation! From the administration to the teen/adult volunteer and the kids. They really care about their community and their volunteers. They listen to what is in need and improve on it. If you're looking to have some impact in a community and also have an AWESOME time with the locals, this is for you.

This has been an absolutely amazing experience and it passed by so quick!!! We did 2 weeks and in those 2 weeks we got to see how amazing this organization is and how much it does for its community in so many different ways. Its truly a safe place for the kids to feel safe, to grow and to learn new things. The kids are absolutely incredible and the team of volunteers work really hard to put everything together. There is no doubt in my mind that I will be back. Thank you for welcoming us in the SYI family!

The project is an organization that helps children living in the slums who do not have the opportunity to go to school. It is a place full of amazing people, full of energy and love. They dedicate themselves to children who cannot study, and volunteers have the opportunity to provide them with basic education. What pleasantly surprised me was that every weekend, they organize a feeding program for all the children from the slum. It was an incredible experience to see and get to know their culture. Thank you, the project!

Great experience, I got to meet so many amazing people and the work they do with the project community is truly inspiring. The hosts, Mercy and Ruth, are very kind and friendly. Really felt like I was at home!

I spent 16 days in the project under the guidance of Joshua, Ruth, Mercy, Anthony and other members of SYI. It's hard to describe how amazing this trip was for me, the best way to sum it up is to just go yourself ! The organisation does an unlimited number of different activities and initiatives for the local people and children. The impact they make to their community truly is amazing. I felt so welcomed and looked after in every sense the whole time I spent in the project. The people made the experience for me and made it very difficult when it came time to leave. I will definatly be returning !

The organisation is very well organised with a daily structure along with them being flexible to help you learn what you want to too such as learning how to make traditional foods. The organisation has something to help better the lives of all age groups. The host always made sure you were well looked after and safe. An amazing organisation and people to spend time with!
