Foi uma semana realmente valiosa na organização Community Centre. Conheci todas as crianças, elas são tão queridas e respeitosas. Preparamos comida para as pessoas da vizinhança e as entregamos a elas; é tão bom que esse tipo de centro exista para ajudar uns aos outros. Também ajudamos as crianças com a pré-escola, brincamos com elas, rimos e dançamos muito. Adi, Marly e todas as mães são tão queridas!

É uma experiência incrível. Obrigado(a) a Adi e a todos os que participaram pela experiência e pelo tempo maravilhoso. Todas as crianças locais e suas mães estarão lá desde a manhã até a noite, e são tão amigáveis e agradáveis. Eles cozinham todos os dias, distribuem a comida. E tivemos a oportunidade de ir à vila montanhosa para entregar algumas roupas. Eu estive lá apenas por sete dias. Mas foi uma experiência realmente incrível. Recomendo a todos que vão lá.

Que lugar tão maravilhoso para ser voluntário. Tive o melhor tempo com as crianças. Permite que você inicie da forma como gostaria de interagir com as crianças; use seus talentos para ver o que melhor conectaria você a elas. Pode ser muito ocupado e intenso, mas é tão agradável e gratificante. tenho muita sorte de ter passado muito tempo com todos. Grato pela nossa anfitriã Adi; ela é extremamente trabalhadora e hospitaleira. Adoraria voltar.

My First International Volunteer Experience Volunteering with the organization marked an incredible introduction to international service, offering a meaningful opportunity to engage with the local community and gain insight into the daily lives of its people.I am sincerely grateful to world packers and to our host, Adi, for making this experience possible.The education and fun experiences provided to each child and parents is truly inspiring.I will always carry with me the memories of the children whose warmth and resilience truly touched my heart.

It was such a nice experience; I really connected with the kids and people there. It's so good to contribute and help the children, getting to know them better. You also learn a lot about how things work in the community and more about local culture. I had a room with AC and comfortable bed.There were 3 daily meals, and they made sure to give me many vegetarian options (which I wasn't expecting!) You are free to play with the kids at any time, and you have break times, so you can volunteer for the scheduled hours or do extra, it's up to you. 1 week is not enough, stay longer. I miss you all!!!

I stayed only a week but I experienced so much. Overall, it was wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone interested. I was at the Community center, located by a slum area. In the mornings, I had class with pre school kids and then played with the kids around for the rest of the day. I also joined a food sharing activity. The kids are absoutely lovely and as you spend time there you get to learn about their reality and yours. It makes you think. However, know that this is ofc not a hotel and that it's not stricly 15 hours. It's intense but meaningful. Feel free to ask me anything.

I spent a week volunteering at the organization centre, an humbling and unforgettable experience for me. The main task was teaching the younger kids, 3 hours per day (Mon-Thu) with their mums assisting. The rest of the day was dedicated to all the ones who came in and out from the centre: kids of all ages, coming from the slum. They also guided us once through it, happy and proud to show us their little world: it was an eye-opening reality check. I can't recommend this experience enough: be ready to adapt and to go with an open heart, the kid's smiles are contagious.
