Os alunos da escola foram muito gentis e acolhedores, bem como ávidos por aprender. Minha estadia foi confortável; eu e outro voluntário compartilhamos um quarto com banheiro e foi perfeito. Mirijula, a esposa do anfitrião, foi o destaque da minha experiência. Uma nota importante é que não há recepção / wifi na propriedade do anfitrião. Também tive alguns problemas com o anfitrião, no entanto o resto da experiência foi incrível e eu recomendaria. Trabalhamos cerca de 5/6 dias por semana. Além disso, a localização é bastante remota, com poucas oportunidades para explorar em outro lugar.

Esta é a minha segunda vez fazendo voluntariado na Vivekananda Vidhyalaya, e cada visita me ensina algo novo. Rodeado pela natureza e recebido por crianças gentis de coração caloroso, a experiência é sempre revigorante. Recomendo muito este lugar a qualquer pessoa interessada em ensinar crianças em um ambiente pacífico e inspirador.

Fiquei na escola de 25 de agosto a 4 de setembro. Embora tenha chegado uma semana antes do previsto, o senhor Nilakanta me recebeu calorosamente, ofereceu acomodação e me atribuiu tarefas significativas. A escola é uma instituição de construção comunitária que promove educação, saúde e higiene entre alunos e moradores. Os alunos, funcionários, o fundador e o diretor, o senhor Nilakanta, sua esposa e seu filho Jagmohan criaram um ambiente tão acolhedor que me senti profundamente conectado com eles. I had an amazing experience at the school. It is the best place for perfect cultural immersion. The host Nilakanta sir and his family especially his wife treated me very well. The people there were so kind and welcoming. Waking up to the sounds of birds, in a peaceful and calm environment is a beautiful experience. I met so many people here, and I really had a great time. Because of a miscommunication, I got down at the wrong place instead of reaching the host's place, and understanding my situation, the host immediately arranged his friend to pick me up. Overall, it was great.

I had a truly amazing time in Majuli. The people were incredibly sweet and always ready to help. Their warmth and kindness really made it a wholesome experience. I felt like I was at home. The kids in the school were very sweet and eager to learn. The experience of teaching children has taught me a lot about myself too. Every day I used to look forward to go to school. The host Mr. Nilkanta Pegu and his family truly welcoming. They took care of me and treated me like family. I got to experience their festival as well. I have made friends for life.

My time in Majuli was just amazing ! It was my last minute change of plan to come to Mechuka, but it turned out to be the best decision ever ! I got to experience the their tribal culture and tradition in the most authentic way by living with locals ! People are so sweet and friendly, literally every one invited me to their house for dinner and I can't express how kind and sweet they are ! I love my time there and surely I'm going back there to meet my new family. Thanks Nilkantha sir for hosting us so well and wish you all the best for your future endeavours ! You are doing amazing work ❤️

My time at the school was amazing. The place is peaceful with very little pollution, perfect for anyone who wants to experience village life. The students are lovely; they don't speak much English but are eager to learn. The host, Nilakanta, was very supportive. I taught science to the kids and learned a lot from the community. It was a great experience.
