This was an amazing experience to get to stay near the beach on Roatan and meet locals and expats. the home is only a minute or two walk from the beach and the town West End is a nice chill town with plenty of bars, shops, and cafés. Zak is very friendly and hospitable and Luis too is who is the cook at the restaurant and makes your meals. The accommodation was very good with a private room and bathroom and balcony even. The work was fair. I did a lot of painting and a few other maintenance jobs around the house. Overall it was a great exchange!
