O wok com os animais foi incrível. Foi possível ver como os cães se acostumaram com você e mostraram sua personalidade para você. E é uma experiência realmente significativa. A vida na vila em si é muito calma e relaxante. Mas você precisa ter pele grossa com Monica.

Esta foi nossa primeira experiência com world packers e nos divertimos muito. As tarefas foram conforme descritas e foi muito bom interagir com os cães. A maioria deles ama as pessoas e fica muito feliz quando recebe atenção. Tínhamos uma cozinha para cozinhar nossa própria comida e brincar com os filhotes no nosso tempo livre. No entanto, Monica foi extremamente difícil de trabalhar. Ela espera que você queira trabalhar o dia todo e não reconhece metade do seu trabalho. Ela disse que somos preguiçosos e reclamamos demais, embora nunca tenhamos feito. Dawn e o grupo de voluntários ajudaram muito a responder perguntas.

O voluntariado no o abrigo foi uma experiência pessoalmente gratificante. O trabalho foi tão duro quanto o esperado, mas também foi muito gratificante fazer a diferença na vida desses cães. A maioria dos cães era realmente afetuosa e adorável. Vou tê-los no meu coração. No entanto, Monica não era fácil de lidar. Às vezes, ela foi muito desrespeitosa conosco. Sei que isso é em parte devido ao imenso estresse que ela enfrenta lidando com a carga de trabalho há tanto tempo, especialmente pela sua idade. Mas isso não desculpa o comportamento dela. o o abrigo é adequado para pessoas que trabalham duro e amam cães :)

Oi:) minha experiência tem sido única e posso dizer com segurança que vou retornar em algum momento no futuro. Colocar trabalho e amor em uma matilha de cães que só querem receber um pouco de amor foi exatamente o que eu esperava e não fiquei desapontado. A vida cotidiana fará com que você consuma toneladas de comida e doces) Eu realmente gostei desta oportunidade, com minha adorável equipe <3, amo vocês!! É claro que nem todo segundo é pacífico e em algumas ocasiões pode parecer muito, mas... você está se candidatando a um abrigo de cães, vamos! Estes são seres vivos e eles precisam de cuidado.. Monica esconde seu bom coração.

My time at the the shelter was one full of learning and rewarding experiences. The work itself is tiring, repetitive and can be rather unpleasant. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with the dogs. On the other hand, I found Monica difficult to work with. Unfortunately, I ended my time at the the shelter earlier than planned due to Monica and other incidents that occurred. I felt unprepared for what I was getting myself into. Despite the difficulties, I felt that I learned a lot about myself, my resilience, and Romanian culture. I respect the work Monica does and will cherish the memories made.

Very rewarding work, all of the dogs are wonderful and always so happy to receive belly rubs. The work is pretty easy but you will have to be thorough. Definitely recommend the the shelter, I felt like I made an impact on the animals. It was difficult to leave.. Monica was difficult in the beginning, she is under a lot of stress from many different things. After I learned enough Romanian to understand Monica without always needing a translator, she stopped being difficult. She is a wonderful woman if you just get to know her, but you are going to have to try hard.

I really enjoyed my time at the the shelter. The dogs were amazing and non of them were aggressiv torwards human. I can really recommend this place to anyone who wants to help and enjoyes spending time with dogs.

It was my first experience in a the shelter and most of the things were new to me even though the tasks were easy, but tiring and repetitive sometimes, not to say dirty but it's what you applied for. I can say I managed the workload pretty well. Monica, however, has a bad temper, making it hard to get along with her at times, also the language barrier interferes and doesn't help. Despite this, I definitely enjoyed being surrounded by the animals in a beautiful location and I received lots of love from them.

Whilst staying at the the shelter I had the most amazing time looking after the dogs and spending time with them. It really is a rewarding place to volunteer as you can see the progress made by some of the newer dogs in terms of their confidence. However I would say I had a tricky time with Monica, there was a language barrier which made some things get lost in translation. As well as that she could be quite harsh which was probably brought on by the stress of looking after all the dogs however it meant that it was sometimes very hard to get along. That being said I would hugely recommend staying :)
