I enjoyed my stay at the hostel. They are fair and flexible with hours and the cabins they provide for staff are comfortable. The hostel itself is nice and specious with a lot of amenities and a short walk into town. The town itself is a nice little beach town with really pretty sunsets. I can definitely recommend volunteering here!

My stay at the hostel was a lovely experience. The team is very kind and welcoming, making you feel at home right away. The work is exactly as agreed: 3 hours in the morning (housekeeping) or 3 hours in the afternoon. There is plenty of free time to explore or find another job in town. The beaches are amazing and there is a beautiful coastal walk. You stay in a shared cabin with other volunteers (1 or 2). The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby shops. I would definitely recommend this place! :))

I had a really great time at the hostel Pozzi! Matilda and the other staff members are friendly, welcoming and clear with tasks and information etc. They are fair and flexible with hours which helps if you're looking to work whilst volunteering like I did. I always had what I needed to do my job. The cabins provided for staff are really cute and a calm space chill in. The hostel itself is spacious and clean. The other volunteers were so lovely to work with and get to know. I definitely reccomend volunteering here:)

The hostel feels like a little family: a great hostel to stay for a longer period. The other volunteers made the stay special and the work hours were fair and easy. I would definitely recommend volunteering here:)

The hostel and the staff from the hostel are absolutely lovely🩷 They really cared about the working hours (that we are not working more than the 3 hours, 5 times a week) and in general were they super respectful and caring. If I will come back to Australia I would definitely come back to the hostel🥹🩷

I had such an amazing month volunteering at the hostel! I really loved the facilities, this is one of the best hostel I have been for sure. Port Macquarie is a cute city with nice beaches, just don't expect any crazy nightlife 🙃 The work is easy and Mathilde is flexible with schedules if needed. Both staffs and volunteers are exceptional people, the atmosphere is so cosy and warm it made me feel home ❤️ I highly recommend this place, the only downside is that it's hard to leave 🥲

This was my very first volunteer for accommodation, and has set the bar very high! I had such a wonderful few weeks at the hostel's, and grew very close with all the staff I was working with. The hours we had to work were very fun, upbeat and quite enjoyable tasks. Everything was as expected, perhaps more enjoyable than I had envisioned. While I spent my time here it felt as if we were one big family living together, and would come together each day to clean our house. Expectations were clear, and it's also a very safe hostel as well. The accommodation provided was great too. All love :))

This was such a great hostel to work at. The hours are great, and the workload is light. I also met so many other great volunteers, and it felt like a little family. It's very chill, and the town is so nice!

This was my first experience with WP, and I couldn't have asked for a better one! I worked at the hostel for a month, doing 3 hours of housekeeping every morning with two days off per week. Mathilde was super flexible with schedules and days off if we had plans. The vibe was amazing, the hostel spotless, and our rooms so cozy. It truly felt like home, I wish I could have stayed longer. I'll definitely be back! Thank you for everything :)

Wow, what a fantastic place to volunteer! Mathilde and Cedric communicated everything clearly in advance and were very accommodating of me needing specific days off when a friend was visiting. The work requirement was fair for the accommodation provided and the hostel is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Mathilde had found such a lovely group of volunteers that the whole place felt like a little family. I was initially hesitant to commit to 3 weeks in Port Macquarie, knowing that it was quite a small town, but I genuinely would have loved to stay longer if my time had allowed :)
