Minha estada com Elizabeth e Faroukh foi absolutamente maravilhosa! Eles são os guardiões mais gentis da terra e têm muito conhecimento sobre a natureza, plantas, construção, a terra, história e a vida em geral! Foi uma experiência verdadeiramente ótima ficar duas semanas com eles e nunca vou esquecer a generosidade deles e como abriram a casa para um completo estranho como eu. Aprendi muito sobre plantas e árvores, algumas novas técnicas de construção e reparos, e compartilhamos muitas risadas e muita comida boa! Recomendo muito essa oportunidade da Worldpackers a todos!

A fazenda foi tão gentil e acolhedora desde o começo. Ela parecia exatamente com minha avó de verdade, e eu pude me sentir em casa. Sua comida era absolutamente incrível — tão boa que às vezes eu me sentia culpado por comer refeições tão deliciosas pela quantidade de trabalho que fiz! Eu estava cercado pela natureza real longe da cidade. Foi um pouco difícil me acostumar com um estilo de vida diferente do da cidade, mas a fazenda me levou para pescar e para a praia, para que eu também pudesse aproveitar meu tempo livre. Acho que este lugar é especialmente ótimo para quem dirige. Claro, também está tudo bem mesmo sem um carro!

I planned to stay with the farm for a week and ended up staying for three because I enjoyed it! the farm truly welcomes you into her home like extended family and the property is beautiful. If you work hard you will be rewarded with delicious lunches and groceries for you to prepare your own dinner/breakfast. I truly felt like I was getting a taste of Australian life and I really enjoyed refurbishing furniture, helping with renovation work and tidying. On rest days the farm took me fishing or to the local beach and the evenings are chilled with films.

My friend and I had the best time staying with the farm! Her property is lovely but she is the true gem at DreamAcres. She is extremely generous: taking us to see local places, letting us borrow her car, cooking amazing meals for us, and even allowing us to stay in her bedroom while her usual guest space was occupied. the farm had the most interesting stories and a lot to teach us about life on land- I feel as though I left her farm with a healthier mindset than when I arrived. The work itself here is matched to your capabilities, I recommend to anyone who's willing to put in effort!

The farm made us feel welcome right off the bat! She made us feel like family and told us to make ourselves at home in the kitchen whenever we feel like. She was also kind enough to let us use her car whenever we wanted (brave because we're American and not used to driving in the left, but all went well!). She even let us take her room to have two beds. The workload was as promised, if not a little lighter because she knew we are new to the whole farm life, but we still learned a lot and got to plant our own goodbye trees! Also, the dogs are amazing :). I would definitely stay here again!

Oh Raegan‼️Já sinto falta das suas risadas!!! Quanto a mais trabalho - bem, não tive coragem de aceitar sabendo que nenhum de vocês tinha experiência prévia como trabalhadores rurais! Mas vocês dois fizeram um trabalho incrível com a poda de arbustos🙏❣️ Talvez seja necessário um pouco mais de habilidade para deixar a parede de vidro de 5,8 m sem manchas🤣🤣‼️❣️👍

I have been at the farm's beautiful property for two weeks, where i had the pleasure to work with/for her in exchange of a nice private room, private bathroom and meals.. I highly recommend this place if you are a solo traveler or a couple looking for a place to stay in Queensland for a while; The property is 20-25 minutes with car from the big city called Bundaberg.
