Das Hostel ist ein sehr entspannter Ort. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderbar, und zwei Onsens im Hostel zu haben ist ein unglaublicher Bonus, der dies zu meinem bisher entspanntesten Erlebnis macht. Die Aufgaben sind genau wie beschrieben, und die Arbeit läuft sehr leicht von der Hand. Aber zweifellos ist der beste Teil dieses Hostels das Team. Jeder ist warmherzig, zuvorkommend, und hat mich immer völlig zu Hause fühlen lassen. Wir haben einige Aktivitäten zusammen gemacht, bei denen ich viel über die japanische Kultur gelernt habe, und sie haben mich wirklich dazu gebracht, diese Erfahrung fest in mein Herz zu schließen. Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit, im Hostel zu bleiben. Ich konnte Japanisch mit den Mitarbeitern des Personals üben, Englisch mit den Kunden und den anderen world packers, ich war sehr komfortabel dort, weil die Betten kapselartig sind und ziemlich bequem, und der Onsen ist ein unglaubliches Plus. Die Aufgaben waren nicht schwer, und die Mitarbeitenden des Personals erklärten sie mir immer zuerst. Ich habe mich wie zu Hause mit ihnen gefühlt, eine unvergessliche Erfahrung. Vielen Dank ❤️

Ich könnte mir von diesem Ort nichts Besseres wünschen, das Personal ist wunderbar und sie lassen dich vom ersten Tag an wie zu Hause fühlen.
Die Arbeit ist klar und fair, jeder hilft, wenn es nötig ist, denn wenn wir alle früher als vorgesehen fertig sind, kannst du den Rest des Tages frei haben.
Hakone ist die perfekte Mischung aus Bequemlichkeit und Tradition, und dank des kostenlosen E-Bikes für Freiwillige und der wöchentlichen Zahlung von 2000 für Essen kannst du mühelose Ausflüge genießen.

Ks House war eine großartige Erfahrung. Hakone ist super entspannt und ist ein großartiger Ort zum Entspannen, wenn man lange unterwegs ist, wie ich es bin. Das Personal ist durchweg liebenswert und insgesamt hatte ich eine wundervolle Zeit.

Die Erfahrung im Hostel war ausgezeichnet. Die Arbeit ist sehr gut organisiert, die Aufgaben sind gut zu bewältigen, und das Team hilft immer gern. Sie sprechen sehr gut Englisch, daher gibt es kein Kommunikationsproblem. Der Ort ist wunderschön, sehr sauber, mit einer unglaublichen Landschaft.

I had a great time here! The team is very friendly and got to meet lots of people. The hostel feels like a home, you can cook your own meals in the kitchen (there is no super market close by, but there are konbini and use their e-bike), the lounge was a great place to hang out with guests and fellow volunteers & the onsen is a bonus! Most of the time we finished work early (3-3,5h) instead of 4 hours and the instructions were clear. I slept in my own room which i later shared when the other volunteers arrived. If you like chilling/nature this is the place for you. Thank you the hostel!

I had the best time at the hostel. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, you can really make yourself at home here, and everything is so clean. It is the most organised Worldpackers experience I've had so far! Everyone has their own tasks and then you work together to finish the group tasks, so you're able to manage your time effectively as you know what you need to do within the 4 hours. The staff show you what to do so you know what to do and how to do it. Thank you for everything, I will miss my Hakone family! I wish I could have stayed for longer, highly recommend.

This was my first volunteering experience in Worldpackers, and I'm so happy I got to live this experience with the hostel team. From the first day, I felt welcomed, they took time explaining the tasks I was meant to do and communication was clear from the start. Also, we finished early most of the time which allowed me to explore and do other activities. I really enjoyed the interactions I had with the team, the other volunteers and the guests! I couldn't have asked for a better first experience in Japan!! The whole team was super welcoming and so nice at all times and happy to help if I had questions. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and I felt very safe. The work was easy and we were done early most of the time, which made it possible to do small day trips and exploring every day. Thank you for the great time. I really enjoyed my stay and would 100% recommend it to other Worldpackers! If I get the chance to, I'll stop by again and say hello :)

I really liked my time in Hakone. Yayoi-san and the whole team were very kind and always friendly. The hostel itself was also a place that felt very cozy and home-like. There were many international guests and it was easy to connect with them. The working time was said to be 4 hours per day, but we usually finished earlier. The tasks were easy and always manageable. Hakone itself was beautiful too, right in the middle of nature, but as other reviews already said, there wasn't that much to do, so be prepared for that. All in all it was a great learning experience and i felt truly welcomed:)
