Mein Aufenthalt war eine wunderbare Erfahrung! Ich bin so glücklich, dass ich in dieses Projekt gelandet bin. Es gibt viel zu lernen und Maui ist eine sehr geduldige Person. Der Ort an sich ist sehr besonders und die Haustiere machen es noch schöner. Die Arbeit ist nicht super einfach, aber fair für das, was Sie erhalten. Es gibt gutes und gesundes Essen, nette Leute und eine schöne Landschaft, in der man sich verlieren, eintauchen und über sich selbst reflektieren kann. Ich würde diesen Ort jedem empfehlen, der darüber nachdenkt!

I can't recommend this experience enough. Maui has created such a special environment at Rancho the project, dedicated to learning about sustainability while also living and working in a way that shows you how to practically embody these values. We worked hard, primarily on a bioconstruction project during my time there. We also spent plenty of time together enjoying the natural beauty on the ranch and nearby, as well as a couple of really fun trips to different locales and events. I met a lot of fantastic people here and I'm really glad I stopped by Rancho the project while in Mexico :)

Rancho el proyeto fue mi 1er voluntariado y la verdad estoy muy agradecida de que haya sido así. Maui e Isaac son un gran equipo, nos recibieron con mucha generosidad, compartimos muy lindos momentos de diálogo y recreación! El Rancho es un lugar rodeado de bellísima naturaleza, desde el poderoso volcán hasta mágicos cielos, cantos de pájaros y luciérnagas por la noche. Me encariñé con cada integrante de este bello proyecto! Y pues claro aprendí mucho sobre bioconstrucción y permacultura. Definitivamente volvería al Rancho y súper recomiendo vivir esta experiencia para re-conectarse!

El proyeto fue mi primer voluntariado y no le hubiera cambiado nada. El trabajo, por su naturaleza, es fuerte, pero aun siendo alguien que no tiene tantas capacidades físicas (o eso creía) me acompañaron con mucha paciencia y aprendi y logre muchas cosas. Se come muy rico, se disfruta de la naturaleza y la gente que conoces es hermosa. Quiero regresar 💖

Un lugar mágico, increíble experiencia, desde que comencé el contacto con Maui muy amable, atenta y servicial, me asesoro en todo el proceso para llegar, fue muy calida al recibirme, considerada en las actividades de esfuerzo físico, la armonía del lugar es grandiosa, la naturaleza, los animales, comidas sanas y deliciosas, ame el ambiente, conocer gente con la misma vibra, valores y objetivos. Definitivamente quiero volver a aprender más del Rancho, a nutrirme y aportar mucho más, sin duda lo recomiendo a todos, espero lo disfruten tanto como yo, compartan y se den la oportunidad de vivirlo.

The project was such an incredible experience! Mawi is a great host, really brining you into her community :) The ranch is utterly beautiful, with a stunning volcano right in the backyard! The work is very labor intensive, so be prepared, but it is definitely rewarding to be working with your hands, learning about eco-building, and contributing towards a project that has a great purpose. 10/10, I'd highly recommend!

I had a fantastic time at Rancho the project where I gained valuable knowledge about sustainability and learned how to initiate projects from scratch. The surrounding nature was stunning, and each day was filled with fascinating tasks. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who loves spending time in nature and is up for learning something new. The hosts are very kind and went out of their way, to shape this beautiful experience.

Mariana & Andrea were the perfect hosts! I felt really comfortable even though it was the bush-bush ;) I really liked thework I was doing, making walls, painting, clearing a camping zone . The hours are really good. I also like to get to know their vision for the project and I hope they can make it into a super chido camping soon. It is a shame I only stayed 2 weeks. The only critical note I have is to do with the aggression of the dogs, I know M&A are on it but I still had a fright. a few tips for future volunteers: bring a swear, natural bug repellent and lots of good books.

Siempre estuvieron al pendiente de mi, de como me sentía y mis necesidades, desde un principio fueron claros con los acuerdos, objetivos y retos que tendriamos (tienen buenas líderes). Las comidas muy ricas y las tardes libres para recreación. El lugar regala bellísimo paisaje a los volcanes. Recomiendo RSR para quienes buscan encontrarse con la naturaleza en un lugar tranquilo.
