Mauro war ein fantastischer Gastgeber und meine erste Worldpackers-Erfahrung hätte nicht besser sein können. Die Hütte war einfach, aber komfortabel, mit allem, was ich brauchte, und die friedlichen Nächte unter dem Sternenhimmel waren wunderschön. Ich habe es geliebt, Zeit mit Kochen zu verbringen und über Essen im nahegelegenen Retreat zu reden und außerdem die wunderbaren Leute dort kennenzulernen; es ist wirklich ein ganz besonderer Ort. Die Umgebung ist atemberaubend und der Besuch des Wasserfalls war ein Höhepunkt. Mauro ist eine großartige Begleitung und ich habe es genossen, abends mit ihm auf der Veranda zu entspannen. Seine Hunde Felix und Luigi sind bezaubernd! Ich würde hier definitiv empfehlen, ehrenamtlich zu arbeiten ✨

Es war so ein cooler Aufenthalt bei Mauro!! Er hat mir super coole Spots rund um sein Haus gezeigt und einige ziemlich gute Rezepte beigebracht:) Die Aufgaben waren absolut in Ordnung und nicht zu viel. Es war eine großartige Zeit, um über unsere Kulturen und Interessen zu sprechen! Danke Mauro für diese wundervolle Zeit 🫶

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Mauro. Ich verbrachte zwei Wochen und ging inspiriert & erfrischt. Mauro ist freundlich, einladend und macht viel Spaß, mit ihm abzuhängen. Als Freiwilliger allein fühlte ich mich sofort wohl. Es waren zwei regnerische Wochen, also verbrachten wir viel Zeit drinnen und kochten zusammen köstliche Mahlzeiten. Die Freiwilligenhütte ist sehr süß und ein wenig versteckt, was sie zu einem friedlichen Ort zum Ausruhen macht. Die Arbeit war vielfältig und lohnend. Wir pflanzten Bäume, bereiteten Stecklinge vor, schnitten Holz für ein neues Projekt und organisierten den Schuppen. Ich bin sehr dankbar für diese Erfahrung 🥰 vielen Dank!

I had an amazing time with Mauro, can't recommend it enough! He is the best host, making you feel at home from the beginning, always good vibes and lots of laughing. He's taking really good care of his land and it was a pleasure to help him a bit on his daily tasks. The cabin you stay in is lovely and the food was so good, if you like to cook/eat it's a paradise. I left with a lot of inspiration and a new friend!

I stayed two weeks, the time flew, it was very fast, it is a great place, Mauro makes it even more pleasant, he is always attentive to each person, he cares about your health and comfort, if you need to rest, he is a great person. Regarding the place, everything is very nice, there is a lot of space, Felix and Luigi are two great dogs, the chores are easy to do, I really liked this place, I think I would come back, it is very quiet, at night you can see many stars, the sunset is like a movie, the sky is divided into 3 colours, there is privacy in the cabin. Mauro is the best!

I don't even know where to start… this was my first worldpackers experience and I absolutely loved it! Mauro is a great host with a lot of knowledge, skills and cooking skills!! ( the food was super healthy, delicious and fresh ❤️) There are two dogs living there too and they're both super lovely, funny and well behaved bois. The tasks were not boring ( we've built a structure to provide shade for the plants), the hours of work were as agreed , Mauro was flexible with everything, I definitely had time for myself to explore the nearby town and area. I've learned a lot and I truly recommend ❤️

This was my first worldpackers experience and I did not know what to expect. However, my partner Kai and I were easily welcomed by Mauro and Marianna and were quickly able to feel at home. It was such a fun experience exchanging cultures and learning about their land. They have cultivated such a beautiful relationship with the land they live on and had so much knowledge to share with us. We only worked a few hours a day and the rest was filled with long conversations, good food, and trips to nearby waterfalls. It was great to see so many of their favorite spots. Mi experiencia con Mauro y Mariana fue excelente, se mostraron super atentos y amables conmigo desde mi llegada, cocinamos juntos, hicimos Yoga, fuimos cada dia a bañarnos en cascadas, el trabajo fue divertido y productivo, sus perritos Felix y Luigi son unos amores, hicimos nuestras propias cucharas con madera, honestamente es el mejor voluntariado que he echo, recomendado al 100%, gracias por dejarme compartir esta experiencia con ustedes, sin duda alguna volveré, un gran abrazo chicos.

This was my first volunteer experience and it was amazing. The hosts are warmly welcomed me and they were nice. I could learn and experience so many things such as how to make good soil, hand made cosmetics, and Portuguese foods...etc. Also they brought me to many places as well; lake, waterfall, mountain.... But my highlight is definitely the delicious launches!! Their cooking were simple but delicious. If you like cooking and eating, 100 % you will enjoy!! Also I recommend here for those who likes more countryside or interested in cooking/eating:)

It was an amazing experience I would definitely recommend coming here. Mauro and Mariana are lovely people their dogs are also very friendly and cute. The lunches they made us were delicious and different each day. They taught us about plants and explained how to make a few different things with only natural ingredients. The tasks are manageable each day. The cabin is also super cosy and they gave us mosquito nets to put in the room. They were great hosts and were super welcoming and accommodating. Thanks for letting us stay :)
