Ich bin so dankbar, eine der besten Erfahrungen meiner zwei Wochen im Projekt Family House gemacht zu haben. Die Familie ist unglaublich freundlich, bescheiden, fröhlich und einladend. Ich verbrachte meine Zeit damit, Kartoffeln und Gemüse zu ernten, Samen zu pflanzen und den Boden zu lockern. Ich aß das beste nepalesische Essen und lernte viel über die lokale Kultur und Lebensweise. Mein Arbeitsplan passte perfekt zu meiner Freizeit. Wir begannen um 9:00 Uhr, Toast und köstlichen Tee zum Frühstück zu essen, und verbrachten dann zwei Stunden damit, Kartoffeln zu ernten. Ich hatte auch die Gelegenheit, durch die Innenstadt zu radeln und mit den Kindern zu spielen. Ich bin sehr dankbar, Namaste.

Wir sind sehr dankbar für Ihre freundliche Hilfe und Unterstützung während Ihrer Zeit bei uns. Sie haben mit meinem Sohn gespielt, er ist manchmal verrückt, aber Sie haben das so gut gemacht, und er vermisst Sie schon sehr. Ihre Anwesenheit hat uns sehr glücklich gemacht, und wir schätzen wirklich alles, was Sie getan haben. Es bedeutete unserer Familie viel. Wir hoffen, dass Sie hier eine gute Zeit hatten, und wir hoffen wirklich, Sie beim nächsten Mal wiederzusehen. Sie sind in unserem Haus immer willkommen. I had a nice stay with the project and her family. I got welcomed into the family home. There is also an orphanage but at the time there were no kids. I ate delicious homemade food, went to visit the school, and was able to participate in local celebrations. Although I did not feel like I could contribute much and I was not sure of my tasks. But the project told me that there would be more work to do on the farm. Due to personal reasons I left after 2 days so my experience is maybe not long enough to illustrate how volunteering can be here. But overall I enjoyed it!

Our experience in the project was very positive: we were warmly welcomed and integrated into the family, with excellent food and the opportunity to take part in family events. The work was accessible and rewarding, though sometimes limited, leaving us to question our usefulness. If you're looking for conviviality, this is the perfect place - we love this family deeply! Babu, we won't forget you, we promise 🫶 We won't forget this expérience !

The project is a very kind woman. Her family welcomed me with open arms. Within 5 minutes of arriving I was put in a saree with tika and before I knew it I was on stage with 2 other volunteers at a dancing competiton. If you would like to experience a realistic household this would be a great place for you. even tho I had made a mistake with the agreement we talked about it and she made me feel better. thank you didi 🫶🏼

We had a very good time with the project and her family. They were so welcoming and eager to show us their daily life and traditions. We learned a lot together, we went to the temple and to religious celebrations, we helped for the cooking, we saw the kindergarten. We have been glad to stay longer to discover more, as it was the monsoon season we couldn't do much with the farming. We'll definitely visit again the project's family if we come back to the project ! Don't hesitate to go 🥰

Vielen Dank, Schwestern ..ich bin so dankbar, euch bei mir zu Hause willkommen zu heißen.. Hoffentlich könnt ihr beim nächsten Mal etwas länger bleiben und wir verbringen Zeit auf unserem Hof .. Wir vermissen euch sehr, Mädels, und Babu vermisst euch auch .. Viel Liebe von unserer Familie ..

I had an amazing two weeks with the project and her family on the farm. The hours were flexible, and I love how much I was able to get in touch with nature and learn about their farming techniques. Thanks so much to the project and her family for making my experience in Chitwan so fulfilling and special!!!
