The Experience
TRAVEL FEED ,We have many rice fields and various types of vegetables that we farm. Our home and lifestyle is very self sustainable and eco friendly. For the last 3 years we have been running our farm on our own and are looking for people to stay with us to help us within the farm and around the house, so that we can produce quality crops and you can learn about our farming techniques. We have one dog and two goats and some chicken.

Our experience in the project was very positive: we were warmly welcomed and integrated into the family, with excellent food and the opportunity to take part in family events. The work was accessible and rewarding, though sometimes limited, leaving us to question our usefulness. If you're looking for conviviality, this is the perfect place - we love this family deeply! The project is a very kind woman. Her family welcomed me with open arms. Within 5 minutes of arriving I was put in a saree with tika and before I knew it I was on stage with 2 other volunteers at a dancing competiton. If you would like to experience a realistic household this would be a great place for you. even tho I had made a mistake with the agreement we talked about it and she made me feel better. thank you didi 🫶🏼

We had a very good time with the project and her family. They were so welcoming and eager to show us their daily life and traditions. We learned a lot together, we went to the temple and to religious celebrations, we helped for the cooking, we saw the kindergarten. We have been glad to stay longer to discover more, as it was the monsoon season we couldn't do much with the farming. We'll definitely visit again the project's family if we come back to the project ! Don't hesitate to go 🥰

I had an amazing two weeks with the project and her family on the farm. The hours were flexible, and I love how much I was able to get in touch with nature and learn about their farming techniques. Thanks so much to the project and her family for making my experience in Chitwan so fulfilling and special!!!
