Wunderbare Erfahrung!! Das Hostel ist sehr schön, in einer ruhigen Gegend, und bietet viele Aktivitäten. Die Atmosphäre ist super entspannt und lustig, du hast auch viel Freizeit. Ein großes Dankeschön an das Personal und alle Freiwilligen, ich habe mich wie zu Hause gefühlt🤙

Ich habe den besten Sommer verbracht, während ich bei LSH gearbeitet habe! Ich habe die unglaublichsten Menschen getroffen und die Chance bekommen, eine so schöne Stadt zu erkunden. Die Arbeit konnte manchmal hektisch sein, aber das Team hat es lohnenswert gemacht. Außerdem war es eine großartige Gelegenheit, Surfen zu lernen und an den kostenlosen Yogakursen teilzunehmen. Ich werde alle dort so sehr vermissen, besonders Manduxo, und ich kann die Erfahrung nicht genug empfehlen.

Meine Zeit im Hostel war unglaublich!☺️ Alle waren so freundlich, die Arbeit war fair und leicht zu übernehmen, und die Manager und das Personal waren super nett und entspannt. Ich mochte es so sehr, dass ich meinen Aufenthalt sogar verlängert habe :) Ich habe tiefe Freundschaften geschlossen, und Abschied nehmen war wirklich schwer. Ich kann diese Erfahrung wärmstens empfehlen und kann es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen!

Meine Erfahrung im Hostel war fantastisch! Die kostenlosen Surf- und Yoga-Stunden waren unübertroffen! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und respektvoll, wirklich einer meiner Lieblingsorte und Personen, mit denen ich arbeiten konnte! Die Arbeitszeiten wurden immer eingehalten und die Arbeit war leicht machbar, sobald man den Dreh raus hatte. Meine freiwilligen Mädels und Juan waren die beste Begleitung, die ich mir hätte wünschen können🫶 Wirklich erstaunliche Menschen und eine unglaubliche Zeit, die ich nie vergessen werde. Danke dem Hostel für alles🙏

I enjoyed my time here so much I decided to cancel my flight back home and extend a few days . Rodrigo ,Bea and Manduxo are so kind and welcoming . My first day here already felt like I had been here for months . I loved the yoga classes ,pool , the hammocks , surf lessons . The location is perfect . Only 5 min walk to Pingo (supermarket) , 10min walk to the beach , and 2 min walk to the station that will take you to the hostel (20min) and Cascais (15min). It was the perfect way to spend my summer ! Thank you to all the volunteers and staff I've created lifelong memories here :)

The hostel is wonderful: lot of green, lot of space and a swimming pool. It was super easy to get along with people. And here I met truly some of the best I have ever met. Rodrigo was a friend before than a manager and this helped me a lot while doing the assigned shifts: he was always kind and ready to help me. The shifts are very easy to do, sometimes in the busiest days it can get more intense, but it's normal. It is a very fair exchange. I wish you to be as lucky as I was to live this experience. LSH was one of the best thing happened in my life. Truly a home away from home.

It was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have had a better experience. Everybody, from the managers and volunteers to the guests, were extremely nice. Rodrigo was such a chill person so he really made you feel welcome there. Mandux was super funny and welcoming as well. I stayed there for a month but it felt like a week. I got to visit amazing places with incredible views. I also got the chance to surf a bit. I am truly grateful to have been part of the team even if was for a short period of time.

The month I spent here at the hostel has been nothing short of perfection. Everything about this place made me feel so at home, and Nuno & Rodrigo were amazing hosts who always made sure the volunteers were being treated well. The work is well balanced and is quite easy to pick up once you get the hang of it, but even so there is always someone who can help if you're unsure. Definitely didn't expect to have such a hard time saying goodbye, but I am so so grateful to have been able to be a part of this incredible experience and to have met the people who made it so special 🫶

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! I remember feeling so at home after only a few days. The entire team is so welcomeing and kind and you really feel like a part of team! The hours are good and the work is fair. Everything is very structured and nice and the schedule is easy to plan around. Overall I had a fantastic stay and would love to come back if I ever get the chance!

From my very first day at the hostel, I felt so welcomed, and the month flew by! It's a fun, friendly environment, and with lessons and rentals included, it's the perfect place to learn to surf. The volunteer hours are always respected, shifts are flexible, and the tasks are more than manageable. In fact, many of the shifts felt more like an opportunity to socialise than actual work! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone considering volunteering here. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so special! See you again 🫶🏼
