My experience at LSH was really great. The other volunteers I was with made the experience amazing. We went surfing, played volleyball, explored the hostel, had family dinners and movie nights. The hostel is a very special place! The workload was very manageable.

The only downside of my first volunteering experience at LSH was having to leave after one month. Saying goodbye to the place and especially to the people was harder than I expected. The work is easy and leaves plenty of free time. The hostel is very close to Carcavelos Beach and not far from the hostel, and having free surf equipment from the connected surf school was amazing. Thanks to all the volunteers for the great moments and to Pedro for always being helpful and flexible. I'm leaving with amazing memories, new friendships, and a month I'll never forget. I'll be back as soon as I can.
