I recommend the hostel for many reasons! Friendly welcoming staff, a nice place to stay, and 10 minutes from the beach. I enjoyed meeting people from all over the world on shift and then running down to the ocean to surf with free great equipment and lessons. The work was easy, well explained and I always felt comfortable asking questions. Awesome experience!!

Beautiful hostel, beautiful place and beautiful people, it was my first experience as a volunteer in a hostel and I couldn't ask for anything better. They always made me feel welcome; I will most likely return. I recommend it to all travellers☀️

La experiencia fue increíble! desde el momento uno me hicieron sentir muy cómoda y como en casa. Todos son super amables y relajados!. Pude tomar clases de surf y conocer gente de todas partes del mundo. El hostel es hermoso y esta muy bien conectado, ideal para recorrer un poco Portugal. Definitivamente volvería y lo recomiendo!!

Spent the last five five days before my departure crying, and ended up extending for another month. Chiaras Aufenthalt war fantastisch; sie verlängerte ihren Aufenthalt um einen weiteren Monat.
Sie ist sehr kontaktfreudig, verantwortungsbewusst und proaktiv; sie hat alles sehr schnell gelernt und gut abgeschnitten.
Sie hat sich mit allen angefreundet, die durch das Hostel kamen.
Insgesamt war sie eine große Bereicherung für das Team und wir empfehlen sie definitiv für jede world packer experience.

Greta ist ein wirklich lustiges Mädchen, sie hat sehr gut gearbeitet und ist mit allen befreundet geworden.
Ihr Aufenthalt war wirklich gut, das Einzige, was ich sagen kann, ist, dass Computer ihr größter Feind ist XD, aber sie hat trotzdem gut gelernt, was sie tun musste, und es war überhaupt kein Problem.
Wir empfehlen ihr definitiv für weitere worldpackers-Erfahrungen!

I had an amazing time at the hostel! The atmosphere is super friendly, filled with the loveliest and most kind-hearted people. The work is relaxed, with working hours and day-off requests always respected, giving you plenty of free time to explore Portugal, learn to surf, and have fun! The managers, Bia, Nuno, and Rodrigo, are incredibly supportive and always there when you need them, making sure you're comfortable throughout your stay!🌼💖 I'm truly grateful for the wonderful people I've met and the overall experience, and I can't wait to be back one day.

Nora ist erstaunlich, super freundlich zu anderen, einfach eine großartige Person.
Ihr Aufenthalt war erstaunlich, sie hat ihren Aufenthalt um fast zwei weitere Monate verlängert und hat nie irgendein Problem verursacht, sie arbeitet wirklich gut, super proaktiv, schnell und verantwortungsbewusst.
Wir hätten nur gewünscht, dass sie länger bleibt.
Sie wird überall eine großartige Bereicherung sein.

Alex ist ein toller Typ, mega intelligent, hat alles super schnell und gut gelernt.
Ein wirklich sozialer Typ, er kam mit allen gut zurecht, sein Aufenthalt bei uns war großartig und wir empfehlen ihn definitiv für weitere Freiwilligenerfahrungen bei Worldpackers.

I had a great time at the hostel! The managers are super friendly, there is a great vibe within the team and the work and hours are fair. You have enough free time to explore the surroundings and travel within Portugal, and you can indicate your preferred shifts and days off. Even when my travel plans changed the management was super friendly and understanding. Even tho I wasn't here for a long time, I enjoyed it a lot!

Manon blieb nicht lange bei uns; Manon hatte zuvor in einem anderen Hostel übernachtet und die Erfahrung war so großartig, dass sie diese Erfahrung sehr vermisst hat.
Sie trat auf uns zu und sprach darüber, was sie empfand, und natürlich unterstützten wir ihre Entscheidung, wieder zurückzukehren.
Während der Zeit, in der sie blieb, verlief die Erfahrung wirklich gut und hoffentlich sehen wir uns in Zukunft wieder.
