WICHTIG!!⚠️ Das war meine vierte Freiwilligenstelle, zuvor war ich in drei anderen Bauernhöfen, die fantastisch waren. Ich kam vor Ort an, der Besitzer war nicht einmal da; andere Freiwillige sagten mir, dass ich in deren privaten Unterkünften schlafen musste und nicht im für Freiwillige vorgesehenen Bereich, weil kein Platz mehr war. Im Bett fand ich einen Plastikpenis und unter dem Bett einen weiteren Anal-Toy. Edwin ist ein Dummkopf mit abgrundtief überheblich wirkenden Ansprüchen; er ist ein Boss, kein Führer. Er holt Leute, die die Farm nicht kennen, und sie dringen in den privaten Bereich der Freiwilligen ein. Ich konnte nur fünf Tage bleiben, und ich würde ihn nicht empfehlen.

Leider war unsere Erfahrung mit Nora nicht positiv. Von Anfang an hatte sie eine Reihe von Beschwerden, unter anderem über das Essen und die Unterkunft. Sie äußerte sich auch negativ über ihren vorherigen Gastgeber, von dem sie vor ihrer Ankunft bei uns bereits gegangen war. Während ihres Aufenthalts stellten wir fest, dass ihre Erwartungen ziemlich anspruchsvoll waren, und die Kommunikation war oft schwierig und konfrontativ. Obwohl sie zugestimmt hatte, einen Monat zu bleiben, beschloss sie, nach nur drei Tagen zu gehen.

I have to say thanks a lot to Edwin and Sebastian, i really enjoyed the time with them. Its been for me a really beautiful experience with a lot of things to bring in my backpack. I was a little anxious when i arrived but at the end i was sad to leave the place. The farm is magic, beautiful and the experience, if you like to smell and eat, it's magic. During my stay i tried different types of flowers and salads and also really great and healthy food km0. The work is long but soft and if you like to stay in the garden is really nice and interesting, i learned a lot in it. Thanks a lot!

Die Erfahrung wurde durch Sebastian und Claire – Mitarbeiter, die auch während der Arbeitszeiten dort waren – deutlich verbessert. Ich habe viele Pflanzennamen gelernt und mit meinem Freund ein neues gemeinsames Hobby gefunden. Die Arbeit dauerte 7 Stunden oder mehr, aber sie war einfach. Das Essen war großartig und Edwin (Besitzer) kaufte Lebensmittel für uns. Er war nett und wirklich daran interessiert, dass seine Freiwilligen eine gute Zeit hatten, aber hatte einen seltsamen Sinn für Humor und war nicht oft auf dem Hof. Gelegentlich reizbar, also habe ich dafür einen Stern abgezogen. Gute Heizung, damit wir nicht gefroren sind :) Guter Ort zum freiwilligen Arbeiten mit einem Freund, aber ich denke, es wäre einsam ohne einen.

Der Bauernhof hat eine Vielzahl von Pflanzen, über die Sie lernen können und die Sie sogar selbst ausprobieren können. Das Essen ist sehr gesund, da es direkt aus dem Garten kommt. Die Arbeiter dort, Sebastjan und Claire, waren unglaublich freundlich und haben mich wirklich aufgenommen.
Außerdem war die Heizung ein echter Lebensretter!

Everything awesome, all the staff was always trying to make our stay good. the place is amazing and the cat is soo cuddly. nijmegen is just 20 min by bus away and it's a really beautiful city, but there is also the bike path it's worth it, really recommended.

Our stay at the farm was great fun! Such a beautiful farm with some great people to work with. Only thing I would say is the hours are quite long and the work can be draining. Otherwise, I would really recommend this as an experience. Special shout out to Rein who was so welcoming and made our stay so very enjoyable!!

We had a great time at the farm, we were welcomed by Rein who is a super helpful guy and organises the work day effectively, ensuring you get to engage with all aspects of the farm. The work week is long but rewarding we would definitely recommend it to anyone willing to get stuck in. The surrounding area is really nice and everything is convenient to get to by bike - a swimming lake, water sports and a shop. However, Edwin the owner has a strong personality perhaps not to everyone's liking as he comes across highly strung although this did not take away our experience overall.

Great food, great accomodation, in a very nice area with nearby lakes and cities if you like garden work and don't mind getting your hands dirty, i would recommend this place to everyone! the work is very satisfying and there is always smth new to learn, especially about the different usage of plants and foraging (if you attend the weekend workshop). working with rein and perrine was great, they are both really cool people and i will miss drinking way too much coffee with them in the breaks!!

I really got to live farm life for real. It has been hard work many days but also beautiful ones. Became familiar with what it is like to run a small farm. My experience has been very educational and enjoyable. I don't regret having these four weeks here at all. A grate start to my Journey.
